What's the deal with the armory mouth pieces? New sculpts? Or 1/6 versions of the 1/4scale batman pieces?

It's the 1/4 scales mould in 1/6 size.

What's the majority consensus on the dx12 mouth plates nowadays. .. will the armory ones be the best based off what you've seen on the 1/4? Or is robbie thepainters still the go to.

Yeah, the angry mouth plate that shows teeth looks really silly. I'm hoping the new Armory ones look like the 1/4 Batman.

On a Side note. I set up my DX12 with the Wayne Sculpt and I noticed he had a few small paint rubs on his hair. Not sure how he got them since I'm really careful and Never used it before. Can I get some paint and do touch up?

This is gonna be a lengthy post but i just wanted to be as informative as possible. The things i felt were missing from DX12 that DX02 had were the sonar head and HK backpack. Well we have toyzstudios to the rescue. This set includes a recast of the DX12 cowl with led eyes, the backpack i dont know if its a recast or a brand new sculpt but it works really well. I cant recommend these parts enough, it really completes the DX12 package. Price for this pair was about $120 which i felt was fair for something of this quality. Considering a DX12 PERS heads sell for almost 80 bucks so this isnt too bad.

First the packaging, comes in tin cans, the contact info is there if you would like to order a set. I contacted the guy through Facebook

This is whats included in the package, it comes with batteries already installed and you get 3 additional pairs. Also a mouthplate is included which looks like a recast of the robbie mouthplate but the paintwork is lacking in this department. Basically i will not be using this mouthplate but its nice that it was included.

Looks very small when compared to the DX12 head.

It's just the angle. A lot less of the back of the head of the recast is visible because it isn't photographed from an exact profile angle like the DX12 cowl is (see how both ears are visible?). Also the recast is tilted up slightly, showing just a bit of the underside and making it look just a bit shorter heightwise too---not so with the angle of the DX12 photo.

Yup you are correct. They are exactly the same size. Sorry about that guys dont let the photo mislead you theyre identical. Also the LEDs come of really bright in the pics like if they were iron man eyes but theyre not. It has a nice soft blue glow that is hard to capture in pics.

I know a lot of recasts tend to be "squishy".

Id say its on par with the original, if anything the recast does not have that seam running down the side of the original headsculpt.

Was trying to repose the figure and this happened.Is there a way to fix this or should I buy a new one?

I dont know if the whole PERS has broken or if it is only the one eye but I also dont see a way to open the head and check
