I think this figure is a total failure so far.
Based on the proto pics and now these display pics, it's ugly as hell.
The detail is there but the proportions and structural improvements make it fat and weird. IMO.

Yeah, this figure does have some room for improvement, but it's far from being a failure . I'm actually looking forward to this release more that I was to Keaton Batman.

Reminds me of the DC Direct version released back in 2008 that I bought for only $20 and subsequently sold for $40 lol..

I believe that HT would be better off treating the TDK/TDKR suit as a regular MMS rather than a DX...the PERS eyes on the DX02/12 totally fail to achieve the realism that the DX09 Keaton Bats had imo.

I was kinda reminded of it too. But this is a much better looking figure.

Wasn't DCD's cowl made from a scan?

I think Hot Toys figures figures in general suffer from long neck issues, because of the way that the neck posts are constructed. But, it's more prominent in the Batman figures, where the cowl connects almost seamlessly to the neck region of the suit. It doesn't look too bad on this figure.

Yeah, it looks pretty good to me! I wouldn't mind a few improvements here and there, but it's already a fantastic figure.
