Most of you guys probably don't remember it but the Takara bats has shoe boots also. Great for articulation and doesn't look obvious unless you are looking for it.

I remember. And I mentioned it earlier. The Takara boots not only have great articulation, but they are rock-solid joints. I've had mine in a deep pose for a long time and he hasn't budged (without a stand). If the ankles on this figure feel like that, it will be pretty cool. But if it's solely for a tiny bit better articulation, then it's a waste imo.

man this is the most bipolar thread ever. I don't mind the "shoes" because they did a decent job at making it seemless. I do mind those wonky eyes and thick thighs, if they fix those i'll be extremely happy.

Wouldn't surprise me. Keaton wore Nike shoes with sleeves over them.

I remember reading that too, I think it also showed them briefly in the extra's for the DVD release of Batman '89

Yeah. If necessary tweak the idea, but I hope they keep the design for the boots as is. It looks seamless and I would like to put the dx12 in some awesome dynamic poses.

Well it would give people a choice to do so and, as it is, does not hamper the aesthetics of the figure if you just wanted to pose it standing around.

So, if the boots in the first and second pic are the same, I don't think they will look that bad when displayed. As far as movie accuracy is concerned, I think HT still needs to work on them some more.

I know... there's absolutely nothing wrong with the thighs. He shouldn't have skinny legs...
