is there a side by side comparison between the dx 02 and dx 12? I can't tell the difference between these two@_@ Mine is the US batch with the non-leaky abs, seems like upgrading to the dx 12 is not necessary?

On another note. The boots have me a little worried. I guess HT doesn't want another 'Bat suit' boot problem?

I've been skipping the news, talk shows, news papers, and practically the entire Internet to avoid spoilers for TDKR. The only place that I've been actively visiting is the SSF forum. So, I don't know anything, except for what I've seen in the few official trailers. It'll stay that way until July 20th when I see the movie in Imax.

I found some pictures of the actual Dark Knight costume, and this is just to show that even

though in the pictures Batman is wearing proper knee-high boots they look as if they are made up of two separate pieces:

So I reckon what Hot Toys did isn't half bad, just as with this Batman costume the boots on

the DX12 need to appear as if they are two separate pieces (and what a better way to do that than to actually make them that way). Plus it will provide great articulation

Even the costume designer Lindy Hemming has said she never felt like they got the boots right. So, if you don't like them you're in good company. Also, this forum is the only one I've been going to for a couple weeks now. I hope it stays spoiler free lol.

Judging by her reaction before she tried to laugh it off, her face told a 1000 words.

What gets me it is that they let this horrible, unfunny little terd watch an early viewing instead of me.

Great pics and to be honest the boots don't bother me that much. These real pics do show how much the cowl, the eyes and the body shape are way off in the DX 12 figure.

Actually the cod peice bothers me more than the boots. There is to much underneath material showing in between the padding on the actual figure compared to the real suit or even the DX 02, which makes it look like he wearing pants with patches stuck on. Also the padding looks to thin on the legs and needs to be thicker to give that amour suit look like in these pics.

I hope I made it clear that the pictures I posted are of a real Dark Knight suit, NOT a Hot Toys figure. (just in case any of you got confused)
