The back of the figure on the dx12 is diff from the dx02, but I'm sure the pack can be futzzed on some how. Do not read below if u wanna stay spoiler free , I'm serious.

If u order thru the forum iforigno has the cutting guides for the actual capes used in the movies, and its movie accurate, but again, they are exclusive to the forum, not the same as the standard eBay ones he has.

Ahh really?? And I only just ordered the cape off Ebay. Contacting him now, hoping to change my order to the more accurate one. Hopefully its not too late.

Where are the empty cowls for sale? BTW, you can't go wrong with a lforigno velvet cape. I have one on my Begins Bats and it hangs just right.

It baffles me how people are criticising Hot Toy's showing at SDCC, sure there wasn't much in terms of new products but what's there is awesome, easily the best in it's category. Sideshow's DC figures are close of course.

I definitely see your point, i was a little underwhelmed with HT and EB's showing this year. Wouldnt you have loved to see any of HT 1/4 scale line, or EB 1/4, perhaps a figure from Batman Returns?? Without researching to much, aside from the Mark VII and the 66 Batmobile we pretty much saw all of the protos already. I was hoping for something more I guess.

Out of curiosity, why BBTS and not Alter Ego?

no deposit, cancellation fees. mainly cos i heard many good things from people in this forum. and also the shipping is cheaper than alter ego. (44.95 compare to 70 something in AE)

The boots aren't really that big of an issue. Hot Toys have been using separate pieces for their boots for a while now. I first noticed it on my Assassin's Creed Ezio figure. It did look a bit weird at first, but I got used to it. Personally, I think it's nice to have this trade-off for ankle articulation!

Just thinking out loud here, but with the 2011 BB boot/ankle fiasco maybe this is a better option...it might not look as good but should function better.

Definitely . Broken ankle/boot pegs were like an epidemic last year with the BB figure. I think Hot Toys just wants to play it safe with this release, by making the boot into two separate pieces.

Given the choice, i'd much prefer one piece boots, but it isn't that noticeable so it's not all bad.
