Doesn't it say December on Sideshow?

that is an estimate on SS's part- official HT line is 4th QTR (Oct-Dec)

I've got a Tumbler and 5 Avengers due before this one, although i'm not in any real rush to get them all. As long as they come within a couple months of their intended release dates i'm happy.

I'm looking forward to Fury and Hawkeye the most as i'll have them before i start Uni. But once i start Uni the remaining figures will be going to my parents house. I'll have to make trips home to pick them up so will probably wait til 2 or 3 arrive before collecting them.

Does anyone know if the base body and armored parts are going to be almost identical to the DX02? The body size appears to be similar to the scrawny TT Slim body that was used for the DX02.

From looking at the prototype, I'd say it's a mix of the DX02 and the first chubby batman release.

DX02 design, chubby batman material.

Perhaps it is just a sloppy paint job.


Having seen many prototype pictures from various manufacturers over the years, they don't worry about the products looking 100%. They are just testing the overall design and fit.

I LÓVE the bale headsculpt, and how it's got an actual NECK, without the ugly joints at the chin.

For real? I think DX02 looks near perfect proportion wise. This one looks even slimmer, even better.

Man the above picture is not good news to me!! It looks like the prototype is already cracking! I really hope that hot toys do something about this issue. I guess the material is not rubber, it looks like foam or something similar?

Well, when I put him next to my other HT Batman figures, he's smaller and shorter than them. On his DX stand, he's barely as tall as the other releases on their regular stands. Plus, remember..... the body he's on is the same one that's used for the Michael Jackson figures, except the forearms and calves are even skinnier (he probably would have been better on the narrow shoulder body with the beefier chest IMO).

New "beefier" DX12 body far superior in looking like the 1/1 outfit!!!

Well, If you want movie accurate This figure will not included Grapnel gun and Batarangs.

Actually I did spot Sticky bomb gun in batman suit case (TDK batcave)
