What figure is that on the bottom shelf?
I thought it was the ToyFair Begins Bats, but didn't see the point in it being on display.
It is.
But why? Makes no sense.
Well it makes more sense the Batman Begins figure next to the Tumbler than the Dark Knight Rises figure next to the Tumbler...
Looks like the separation between abs and chest has been fixed
I don't think you can lose cartilege in one jump. You can strain, twist, break, blowout, hyperextend, tear ... but absence of cartilege sounds like a chronic thing, not an impact injury.
I got the feeling they were trying to get at bodily wear-and-tear from years of pushing himself over his limits, not a one-time impact injury. You can rehab an injury over 8-years ... you can't rehab a chronic condition. His years-of-service are a little vague -- I tend to think its longer than some do -- but jumping off rooftops and drop-kicking criminals for a living is bound to beat-up the knees.

Does anyone know if the grapple gun will be able to attach to the belt like the other releases?
From what I understand, Bruce was only Batman for about 7 or 8 months since there's only six months between the story of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Granted, he had been training and brawling for years..
Are there chances that HT re-releasing the Batman Begin suit or Batman Begin 2.0? Cuz I missed out on that one, both the first release and also the cc - toy fair exclusive BB.
Depends on how you interpret Joker's "A year ago ..." line. There was a guy that did a pretty good timeline in another thread yesterday.
Potentially could've been active for a few years between BB and TDK, and the events of Begins (between donning the cowl and meeting with Gordon with the Joker card) could've been a year or more.
I prefer an interpretation that has Batman active for 5-years or so between the ambush of Falcone (the first night) and the death of Harvey Dent (the last night prior the 8-year gap). Just seems to fit better with the overall mythology, with Bruce's injuries, with the age of Gordon's son, etc.

Hadn't thought of it that way. Nolan's storytelling does imply a vague passage of time..
I thought we determined that's a posing/futzing issue..
Didn't know about that, hope you're right
