I have never been much of a Batman fan but I admit this one was really emotional and surprised me. I really can't wait to have this now! Nolan and Bale really did bring out the best of this character.

I've always been a fan, I actually got in a minor argument with the owner of my local(very small) comic shop, he kept insisting that "The Laughing Fish" was the first appearance of Joker....anyone who knows Batman knows that it isn't I proved him wrong by having to pull the info up using my phone. They wanted $145 for that one comic.

(This happend a few months back)

Begins in my opinion, is one of the best origin movies out there, and it's my favorite from Nolan. But TDKR was....to much to put into words, I can't wait for the Blu-Ray release.

I don't think Ive read a single Batman comic but haven't really any since the 90's. Cant imagine our world without the characters.

Saw it for the third time, and it's still so freakin awesome. You catch so many more little things with each viewing though. Quick question though. My friends and I were arguing about this. Bruce wayne's leg is injured because of the fall he took at the end of TDK, right? If I recall I remember him limp-running to the bat-pod at the end of that movie.

Well that could be the explanation or it could simply be the result of all of his jumps and stunts as Batman over time.

You could always try eBay, hot toy figures get stripped and sold for parts there

I don't think you can lose cartilege in one jump. You can strain, twist, break, blowout, hyperextend, tear ... but absence of cartilege sounds like a chronic thing, not an impact injury.

I got the feeling they were trying to get at bodily wear-and-tear from years of pushing himself over his limits, not a one-time impact injury. You can rehab an injury over 8-years ... you can't rehab a chronic condition. His years-of-service are a little vague -- I tend to think its longer than some do -- but jumping off rooftops and drop-kicking criminals for a living is bound to beat-up the knees.

I'm not saying he lost it all in that single jump and in that one moment but that it would probably lead to it over time, I mean it was a significant fall.
