Not that I wanted it sooner, but I didn't pre-ordered anywhere when it was announced and didn't want to miss on that one.

Besides, when you order from sideshow in France, they ship it UPS and it means having to pay custom fees that make the fig almost 50% higher.

I almost never have to pay customs when it comes from China as they seldom declare the whole value. So, yeah, it's expensive, but not much more than getting it from Sideshow. Actually, I think it might even be cheaper for me in the end...

Yep, bad month for my wallet... and that's not counting Fury and Hawkeye...

WTF, too bad for me, had my bills calculated for each month and with the preorder of Optimus Prime "Calibre", This anticipations, could not happen,and had never happened, until now.

My dx12 order comes to $285.03 after shipping and taxes. No customs since I'm ordering it from a Canadian seller.

The prices people pay to have something sooner is insanity, but if you have the money to burn, do what you will I guess.

I don't understand that mentality either.

If I had that kind of money to burn, I'd spend it on increasing the QUANTITY of figures I buy, not on getting them faster than other people.

I will, definitely, though I'm a crappy photographer. But I'm sure this thread will crumble under pics once it's released in China, and let me tell you that since yesterday, people have rushed and bought.

I was watching several cheaper ones with the idea of getting one this WE, well they were all gone within a night, and the sellers had several!

That's why I've decided not to pre-order anymore and wait either until release is imminent or I have the cash. That's also why I've just purchased Fury now...

That's really a fair price. Last time I ordered from Sideshow, that was the exclusive Supes. I ended up paying more than 100 euros of custom fees. A bit much for a necklace!
Also, don't forget that at the moment, the currency is still in my favour!

My god, thats more than I've ever had to pay in customs. Definitely not worth it for a SS exclusive.

I pre-ordered this from an ebay dealer when it was announced, so I'm stuck with it. I suppose I can resell it if it's really this bad. Lesson learnt though. No more pre-orders for me.

Just found this floating around on facebook. Don't know how legit it is, and it's quite small. But I like what little I can see, the ab armour looks better positioned and the arms don't look quite as long. I'll reserve judgement until it's in hand...

I don't know mate, thats not a lot more than it would cost from sideshow?
They are charging $260 then add shipping of about $40 (outside US) and the bloody Fedex/customs charges you get stung with on every SS order.
It's only around 20-30$ more expensive, if even that. And that seller is very good, if expensive. He's the guy who posts those youtube videos of his kitchen table.

Agreed. With the last pictures that were shared on here we could use some great pictures. With this appearing to be an actual photo shoot I'm hopeful for some new pics!
