That's a very cynical way of looking at it, but I have to agree. No one here would deny the possibility of another one of these Batman figures from HT.

... And I would still buy it in a heartbeat, because of some newly added accessories that I'd never even use

I do want but simply cannot afford 3 high end figures within the same 2 -3 months! Maybe I will put in a order in say November if its still around and then use 4 months flex pay.

I'm with you on this. I might do the same to push the payments out a bit.

These are pre-orders. It's not like you're paying now.

True but I want to stretch it out as much as possible.
I may be due in for a bonus at work for 2-3 months so if that happens then I may just pre order it once I know Im getting a bonus.

However at the moment its only a deposit pre-order (i.e. full price not listed)

BUT they mention that anyone who pre-orders from them while the full price is not up will receive an EXCLUSIVE item

Has anyone every bought from ToyHQ? Are they reliable?

And that display stand, though the impact of those are cheapened by many MMS releases having personalized (and sometimes even LED powered) stands.

Yes, plus, not every DX figure has the stand that the Batman and Michael Jackson figures have. Bruce Lee didn't have one. Nor did Jack Sparrow or Indiana Jones.

Cool foamed box. But lately it's only half-foamed.

Also, the "Icon" line figures have the foam in the box, as did the 10th Anniversary figures (Scarecrow/Demon Batman).

Really, the only thing that you get every time with DX figures that you never get with others yet is the googly eyes. So, that's the distinguishing characteristic.

I don't think so...the suit doesn't look like a full rubber one. Kind of looks like how they did Battle Suit Jill with the cloth bits...

Looks odd with all the lines, but I would most definitely be down for a repaint of the Begins suit Batman that way. Someone (DiFabio?) did a mock-up of the '89 Batman that way, and I thought it looked great.
