Really, the only thing that you get every time with DX figures that you never get with others yet is the googly eyes. So, that's the distinguishing characteristic.

Yea man. PERS is a great concept and if they worked well, really adds a lot to the figure. But they gotta work out the kinks and get the wonk out already. Although others have things to say about Nicholson Joker, I'm fine with all of that. What really kills him for me is the wonky eyes(and weak knees/ankles )

Most importantly; will this figure have leaking issues that the last one had?

I don't mean this as a slag but I think its also due to Batman fans maybe being fussier. If people looked hard enough there'd probably be innaccuracies with Loki too.

Yea, its is the exact same thing with the Iron Man movie MkIII figure, i thought it looked like ____ so i never bought it, the helmet looked off and they released a BD version, MkII then MkII from IMIII which looks more accurate then the past versions so, yea...Batman has not been done to death by Hot Toys, not compared to Iron Man,which IMO is a weak character compared to Batman.

I sold my V1 TDK Batman and made money and it was loose complete with box so cha ching,if i had a DX02(no leaky XD) i am sure i could have sold it and directed those funds towards two newer/better figures coming soon so, i don't understand the nitpicking sometimes with collectors about this character, they got a whole lot right with this suit for TDKR compared to the all of two TDK versions they released quite awhile ago.

DX is hit-or-miss to me. Like PopCult say, sometimes it ultimately works great (Sparrow, arguably Nicholson Joker). Sometimes it actually seems to ruin likenesses, or certainly contributes to likenesses that aren't as good as the convention for their MMS figures (DX-01, Luke Skywalker, Indiana Jones).

I have little interest in moving my figures' eyes around personally. Just give us a traditional head looking forward, and an alternate (battle damaged, smirking, angry, what have you) head looking to one side or the other, and I'm completely happy. How they handled the T1 Terminator figure was just about perfect in my eyes.

I don't think so...the suit doesn't look like a full rubber one. Kind of looks like how they did Battle Suit Jill with the cloth bits...

gotta get this. It will be my only Non-Avengers purchase this year, even tho i won't get it til next year.

I got my brother to look at some pics and the first thing he said was "is that a toy?" quickly followed by "how the hell"

Isnt it funny how the bale sculpt by Kojun's batman begin exclusive from last year was praised as the most accurate bale HS only to be knocked down a year later with a better bale sculpt?

I know in 2-3 months time, this one would probably be subpar when compared with HT's 1/4 version in term of likeness.

Looks odd with all the lines, but I would most definitely be down for a repaint of the Begins suit Batman that way. Someone (DiFabio?) did a mock-up of the '89 Batman that way, and I thought it looked great.

I'd love to see that. Anyone have that pic saved?

Cowl and interchangeable mouths look odd on most pics and pretty good on some of them. But that Bale sculpt sells the whole thing.

2 out of the 3 "Nolan Batmen" I have are displayed with their cowls so it's time to get a unmasked Batman that actually looks like Bale (loving the Toy Fair HS, but it's more of an idealized version of the character IMO).
