It's kinda funny that the open mouth sculpt on both are still the worst of the bunch.

Indeed. But I actually prefer the toothy face on this one to the doooo face on the other one.

I think they look fine as well, I think some folks might be thinking that the eyelids are part of the PERS due to the lighting, and thus, the illusion of bug eyed PERS is created.

These faces really are just... strange looking. I really hope they fix it. With Tony Meis' custom cape, and a face swap with the DX 02 neutral face, Ill have a perfect batman. just a shame these face sculpts are so wonky.

I would exercise some discipline and NOT buy this with everyone else to prove a point about the price increases.

As great as that sounds, it won't happen but it's not only this. Fuel prices have gone up, food prices are up, tax, heating, electricity, water, all of it is inflation. Our wages don't go up though... Until the Government stop arranging to get more of endless billions printed, prices of everything is just going to keep going up. They can't keep printing money and expect prices to stay low.

Bandaid after bandaid, eventually it's going to burst. It'll eventually get to the day we'll be wheeling our money in barrel loads it's that worthless.

I'm with you. It helps that I'm still good with my MMS version. I've only collected a few HT figures but the ever increasing prices will make it a very small collection. Oh well, glad I have other hobbies

The face plates are growing on me.

The angry face is better on this one, and I like the smirk more than the neutral face of the DX02.



Also, if they are making a Battle Damaged version perhaps it will come with another set of face plates which could be swapped out with this figure... although they may all be bloody.

I wonder if the DX02 mouth pieces will work with this?

Doubt it, I would imagine the ones that come with the DX12 will attach via magnets whereas AFAIK that wasn't the case with the DX02

Would however the mouth pieces that came with last years OC show exclusive fit? Or is the cowl too different?

I don't the dislike towards the mouth pieces, I think they're great. The smirk is my favorite, it's like a bit of the "day to day" Bruce Wayne is coming through and it shows that Batman is human. I like that.

Ordered it just now from bbts, this wil be my third batman. I have the toyfair exclusive batsuit begins and the dx keaton batman now this. I like the use if the cloth undersuit to acheve better poses and the inclusion of the bale sculpt is very nice, this is a very well rounded set and includes everything I would want from this figure. At this point I'm not gunna even talk about the prices cause if you want the best you have to pay for it

I went with big bad toy store as well this time I have my batpod preordered from there as well and the tumbler with side show along with ex joker. The nrd really killed it for me cause I really did not want to get charged 26 today.

I kind of hope HT has more delays...that number of Nov/Dec releases is just too overwhelming...

Agreed...Pre ordered black widow,batpod, joker, and this one. I really hope Bane comes little bit later.
