Another thing that's been bugging me.

The kevlar connector between the chest and the shoulder pad. It was more accurate on the DX02!

Some things don't change: most HT figures still cost more than twice as much as SS figures.

cause they are at least TWICE as good!!!!!!!!!!!

Question about the NRD, does that money actually get applied to the actual cost of the item or is that a premium you have to pay for pre-order? Ive never actually looked and done the math.

Only thing I dont like about getting figures from bbts why dont the yinclude the brown shipper box the figure is supposed to come in.

Nope, you cant. Id be demanding more money if I had to sit and had to paint/assemble a bunch of dolls every day for people that pay $200 each for as well.

I think this is Foxconn/Apple's doing. Crappy wages and harsh working conditions.

Most of the people that work there are college students too. The people demanding the wages are the youth.

I just order from sideshow if they have and exclusive, if not bbts. There are a few other I order from and sometimes I cancel the bbts order if I can get it somewhere else first(ebay not included) I like ordering at bbts for that reason as canceling has no fees, they don't ask for deposits on expensive figures and there site is easy to navagate and cancel stuff if needed.

As great as that sounds, it won't happen but it's not only this. Fuel prices have gone up, food prices are up, tax, heating, electricity, water, all of it is inflation. Our wages don't go up though... Until the Government stop arranging to get more of endless billions printed, prices of everything is just going to keep going up. They can't keep printing money and expect prices to stay low.

Bandaid after bandaid, eventually it's going to burst. It'll eventually get to the day we'll be wheeling our money in barrel loads it's that worthless.

Do you even bother to look at actual inflation figures before offering your opinion? Inflation has been extremely low in Western economies for the past twenty years due to deliberate government policy to that effect.

None of the economic problems you mention are due primarily or even appreciably to inflation. The real issues are consumer credit policies, housing prices, income disparity, globalised resource competition, etc.

Anyway, this is a cool figure, must buy. I sold my MMS version last year for in expectation of this (and out of concern about deterioration) and now my patience is rewarded.

Dont brag about free canceling at bbts and ruin it for the rest of us before you know it they will be charging nrd too. Alter ego charges you if the item you preordered has been preordered for more tha n20 days and then you cancel.

I assume the chest plate will have a bit of movement in it, as the real life costume has, and therefore futzing would sOlve that issue

It won't solve the shape of the wings. They're completely off. See the yellow outlines, more accurate on the DX02

Doubt it, I would imagine the ones that come with the DX12 will attach via magnets whereas AFAIK that wasn't the case with the DX02

That makes sense. The DX09 had it so I can see Hot Toys doing the same here.

More people should appreciate the work that goes into these figures and how accurate they are no matter the little flaws or inaccuracies. Not aimed at you but some nit pics i've read today have been over the top. It's a 1/6 scale figure, you can't expect them to get everything exactly right when the real costume itself has in-consistencies between promo stills, trailers images and other artwork.

This figure looks the most lifelike of any HT so far i think, if you remove the logo's and show some of these images to people who dont know of these collectibles then they would believe they were pictures of Bale, i dont think you can ask for more than that personally.
