And most pictures aren't taken with the intent of flattering and making the subject look as good as possible?

Don't down play it, your figure looks fantastic. You know how derpy it looks out of the package as is? Pretty damn derpy.


Like I said, your modded out figure is on par or better than the Medicom figure (I'd say better considering the Medicom needed a whole new paint job and way more work). Which is saying a lot because Thrustmaster's looks fantastic (and his too were nicely lit in flattering lighting with great angles).

My opinion:

Apart from the head, this is the best TDK suit batman figure there is (Maglor's modded version).

Stick Thrustmaster's head on it and it's even more incredible.


I'm gonna do all these mods and use Medi/CREG head.

Yes. You should get those back but make sure you call to cancel and insist on getting the points back immediately.

Yeah, you just lost those reward points. Never use them on something you might cancel. That's why I save mine up until I can get the item for free or nearly free. $30 here and there just isn't worth it IMO.

Got mine today from Cornerstore Comics. I love that they double box for no extra charge. Gotta say, I am a bit underwhelmed by him, but I think that's because I am still getting over the fantastic Luke DX. Bats is a really good figure, but I wish the neutral faceplate didn't look like such a derp. I am using the scowling faceplate. Still a good figure, just not loving it right now.

SSC got back in touch with me in regards to the googly eyes because of my PERS. They said it can take up to 45 days for replacement heads to arrive

HOW DO YOU GET THE CAPE ON THIS THING?

the instructions and the little illustration are next to useless....

For those having trouble getting the cape to lay flat.


The part of the clip indicated by the arrow below needs to be pushed under the suit. Until you do that it will be a constant problem. Once you get it under the suit you literally never need to think about it again. It will lay flat until the day you remove the cape.

Here is what you should see once the clip is in place:
