I think it's the best default faceplate. But it's not the right look for me... it's not very iconic as "Bale" with his neutral slightly opened mouth look.

It's not bad per say, the problem is it's the only usable one

I kinda like the semi smiling one when the proto pics were out. But now that i got it in hand, surprisingly i think the teething one is the best one (i used to think its the worst one).

The scowl faceplate is the only one I use for mine. It's the only bearable one. The other two are laughably bad.


The DX 02 face plates were all much better. Don't see how or why they went backwards.

The scowl looks looks nothing like bale though. At least the teething was so expressive that one wouldnt be able to complain the likeness issue, thats why i prefer that one.

Can they bring likenesses out, hell yeah. They did that with the godfather. They are the best company right now, tons of artist would wanna put them in their resume, they arent lacking in the talent dept. But they choose not to.

By now, it's pretty apparent that HT sabotages their own products so that they have something to improve with the next iteration. That they can improve the suit so much, but take a step backward with the faces? The DX 2.0 Batman will have an amazing head with fixed cowl, PERS, and faceplates, but the body will have even more rubber than the DX 02!

You have to buy em all and scavenge each part to build the perfect batman.

Obviously the faces and head would be sculpted different.

Probably do the same crap with the Original Costume Begins Batman. They'll call them the "we swear, these are our last ones, definitely definitive!" versions.
