Already got rid of one. Still have my original that I got from CSC though when they first shipped before the holidays. Was the only whole one I kept. I've been selling what I don't need, mostly just for the actual figure (wanted a Batpod rider without having to buy expensive bodies, heads, boots etc.) I've been breaking even and even profiting on some parts, seems to be easier to just buy it as a whole and sell off what ya don't need.


I wanted to test Sideshow's purchasing system. The one I ordered on the 6th has yet to be processed (got an email saying it'll happen tomorrow though). This was with credit. The one I ordered yesterday though with paypal is somehow getting here earlier on Monday.


So I guess if you pay with paypal it has priority over other orders? But I thought they had to wait for them to get to their warehouse? Or are they sitting on some? Dunno.

They are withdrawing the paypal cash and are sending out defected ones.

I think Ecko got his right away after using paypal too. I saw his review and it didn't look used or messed up.

Wonder if it had all the inserts like the plastic wrap around the box and all the plastic crap in the trays. That's a sure sign that it was a return.

I was just replying to Hydeous who was talking about defects and crap.

Some people have gotten things from Sideshow that are obvious returns that were either broken/replacements or returns. There's been discussions about it from figures to statues in regards to inventory. I think someone on here got a statue with paint marks and damage, then a few weeks after returning it, some other person got it with the same problems. It was the same one.

Only time I had that problem was with the HT Reeve Superman. They sent it to me in an Ex. brown mailer (it was a regular, my guess is they didn't have the original box for it), the tissue packing, plastic wrap, etc. was all missing (instructions I think too), the actual box was beat up and it looked like one of the returns where people were upset about the crooked "S" and wire was sticking out of the cape. The packing doesn't matter, but it was clearly a used return that someone didn't want because of the problems.




I wouldn't worry man. It's just strange how if you pay with paypal right away, they get it right out to you yet others that ordered first with a credit card have to wait for it to process and are told it's delayed because of the Chinese New Year. I ordered one last week with the card which won't be coming until it's processed tomorrow. Yet, I just bought one yesterday with paypal, and already got the shipping # and everything. Just seems strange when they have that "3 to 4 weeks" "wait to receive shipment thing".
