I want to issue a public apology to Redwolf .I told him I would help him by getting him a Midas at retail. When Sideshow tried to charge me I hadn't realized I had an expired card on file so they tried to charge me the card declined and I recieved an email saying the payment was declined.I was very nonchalant
about the email thinking I'll just give them another card later friday sometime. Earlier today I recieved an emailed saying my order was cancelled I rushed to the phone and called Sideshow apparently in the declined email put they would rerun the card the next day and because the item was very limited if the card declined again they would automatically cancel..i had no idea I just knew I had more time. I WILL REFUND YOU IN ONE HOUR

Just got mine but im a little concerned. For those people that already got theres i have a question. On top of the shipper box is two sets of tape , you can obviously tell the original first tape has been cut, then it was resealed using the same exact tape, im assuming sideshow did this so they can put their company logo on the midas box itself, but im not sure. Can someone confirm if there midas shipper box had The same tape issue mine did.

Just got mine. Came with a free Stitch holiday cosbaby. Cute. Was 6.2 lbs. will have the other on monday. Same weight, so probably another cosbaby. Was hoping for a free angelica to throw on ebay at .99... Maybe make $5 lol.

My shipper box did not look like that.

As for UPS, I'm 90% certain that the depot by me IS open on Saturdays, maybe 8am - noon? I'd check and drive over there tomorrow morning, assuming they aren't 200 miles away.

Luckily ups is 10 min away so i can check with them. However if ups doesnt do anything. Can sideshow replace it?

You think someone opened it before hand?

For what it's worth, non-HTs related, I'm bought collectibles that had tape like that on the box. Two sets, the first was cut. Then, it was like someone tried to re-seal it. And I got mine directly from a factory box, so unless it was for QC purposes, I can't explain it. No one else, but the factory (if at all), had opened it.

Yes im pretty sure someone had opened it before hand then resealed it but maybe from the sideshow warehouse because it was the same exact tape That was used.

^^^ i also have received sideshow statues before and this exact thing has happened but NEVER hot toys.

My DX13 and DX14 were opened and resealed so they could put a calendar in the box (I have 2 calendars now).
