I was able to get the Mark XXI off of eBay for $525.00 and that's the lowest I've seen on eBay.

I was eyeing that auction too. Contradulations, I'm glad you got it for that price. I've decided if I can't get one for under $550 I'm skipping it, I'm not going to line the scalper's pockets any more, and Hot Toys seems to be promoting scalping with this one, inadvertently perhaps but nevertheless.

Anyway, frees the money up to get a couple of Chitauri Footsoldiers, IF they ever open pre-orders for that one!

I can't help but to think that some of those people on ebay are actually hot toys employees

I've been seeing this same person selling on ebay, makes me wonder how many he actually bought.

It's certainly possible they oversold in Asian markets and now are either doing another run or contemplating just not bringing it stateside. With all the new stuff coming out, another run could push back lots of other stuff and not be worth it to HT.

Just wild speculation, of course.

you really belive that ? even if that was true , ignoring customer requests is simply rude and in my eyes bad customer Service.

Go ahead and go back to the beginning of the thread. SSC has answered questions NUMEROUS times about this figure, they're not dodging them, they've already answered them. If you're too lazy to read the thread to see if anyone asked SSC about it already, why should SSC recap the story thats been unfolding for 4 months for you.

For clarification, Sideshow Collectibles has always responded to me even if they didn't have any information to offer, and they've always been nice... maybe the comments were about someone else's experience with them? I was ignored by Hot Toys, multiple times, so I have given up on ever trying to get any information of any kind or assistance from Hot Toys. They're the ones I find frustrating, and I suspect SSC really are as in the dark as we are - they have said repeatedly that they aren't told anything more than we are, and when they get information they generally share it with us. Whether this is the case or not, I can't say, I have no reason to disbelieve them.

Ignoring would be better than the reply I got from Hot Toys. They seriously said "You tell me" after I emailed a question about the Godfather figure couple years ago. Not even joking.

I just asked them what type of body did they used for the figure and if they offer repair service. That was years ago when Godfather first came out and it was when I first started buying Hot Toys figures, so I have no idea that they don't offer any replacement and repairs like Medicom, Enterbay, and ThreeA does. But they finally apologized say it was a typing mistake...

Is it ok if I sleep with my Godfather figure?

I called Hot Toys Hong Kong...they said they are not sure and I need to contact Sideshow. I called Sideshow and Sideshow said, they are not sure yet and that I should register my e-mail for updates. Lol waste of time.

I remember someone posting that at one of the Toys Fair events a month or two ago that Midas sold out super fast and there was a ton of people who were in line still and he was able to preorder the figure. On the receipt, it said that it would be coming out December 31 or January 1.

I'm not worried that Sideshow won't be getting this. It can easily pop up anytime this month or until early January.

If it isn't sold by Sideshow by middle January, then I'll just write this figure off.

I asked an ebay seller about 1-2 months ago and he told me that. He even scan and send me the receipt with "December 31" marked as shipping date. And I posted the pic of that receipt here. Just don't remember when exactly.
