that's too much for a simple repaint with no extra accessories or even a head sculpt. i wouldn't pay more than $299.99.

I agree. When Hot Toys limits a certain release, the supply/demand is all out of whack.

I just got an offer for 369€ local pick up... 2 left... I thought about buying both and flip one later... However I dont see it being worth that much... Maybe just one, but its pretty expensive for a simple repaint...

This one isn't limited as they say it is hence why it's no longer $800-$900 price range when people thought they WERE limited. The mark vi avengers is more limited than this because there's already like 5,000+ units produced and if they do decide to sell outside the Asian market, that could go up to 8,000 units...
And it was obvious HT lied at ordering this figure even when it past the 800 per convention, people were still buying them left and right after that 800 mark...

To me it sounded like those who weren't able to get one at the convention (after the 800 sold out) were able to pre-order one and will probably get it around New Years. That's when I'm guessing Sideshow will be getting theirs.

the MVI avengers promo was limited to 3000 pieces. that's the true grail of the line.

i never read that it had an exact edition size put on it. they sure sold a butt load in the asian market before ever arriving here. they also released if i remember 900 for the European market.

Speaking of which, apparently they are already showing up in Europe!

the MVI avengers promo was limited to 3000 pieces. that's the true grail of the line.

actually the avenger vi movie promo with avengers stand which were only 16 made worldwide is the grail ( look for the Joint Promo Edition ) The difference with the movie promo edition is on the Head sculpt (hair) and stand
then it comes the MK3 Gunmetal grey from silly things only 300 (+200 confirmed japanese version) made and
Sold exclusively through Sideshow Collectibles’ booth at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con, and that pissed a lot of collectors around the world.
then it's the special edition of the war machine. the one which had the special stand also. with the MILK logo for the 10th anniversary, not the one from MILK also but says IRON MAN 2 on the stand. (300 worldwide)
and then it goes for the mark vi movie promo with normal stand 3k worldwide.
and finally Midas, so far 800 x 4 (Japan, Singapore, China, Hong Kong), not sure if it will be made for Europe or the US

after that, it's between Mark 6 EX ( comes with arm ) and MK7 BD
Not sure how many MK4 grey versions there were made, but it's not expensive and easy to find. around 400-500 USD here where i am located at

I got all of them, i am missing only the Joint Promo Edition, which i passed, since he was asking 3k USD for it, and i already had 2 different Mk6's
