I do count Prometheus as canon, but still don't see the resemblance.

The kryptonian helmet to me resemblances more to a jet pilot helmet, it was actually the 1st thing I thought.

I ignore Prometheus as non-canon, even ridley scott seems not to want it too closely aligned with the Alien universe..... plus turning the Jockey creatures into guys wearing spacesuits is one of the greatest cinematic cheats of our time. So that suit may be closer, but it does not exist in my world lalalalalalalala cant hear you..... this pictured above is the only Jockey I know.

Sadly this is how I feel too. I was unbelievably excited for Prometheus, then I walked out of the cinema feeling deflated and utterly disappointed. And as I get older I think I feel more and more like Alien is the only truly great film in the franchise. I can enjoy the first two sequels but I think they both fall very short of the first film.

But that's irrelevant I suppose to this thread. I do think there's some slight resemblance to the space jockeys in Zod, but no the less I think he has an awesome design and cannot wait to get this figure. More so than Superman himself I think.

Also, going by the recent interview, does anybody else get the feeling Faora is a little less likely now given Howard's reaction to the question?

The slight resemblance is seen from that tubing from mouth to chest on both helmets.

He was asked if there'll be more figures from MOS, maybe Faora and the answer was basically "it depends on how well the others sell". I just got the impression that Faora isn't planned, although not totally out of the question. Just depends on whether the others sell well.

Was really hoping she'd be made and kind of assumed she would be at some point.

I think final battle Zod would make a better exclusive. That said I hope if they do make that version it's just a regular release, as I'd love that look.

Let's hope preorders at SS do very well. Its hard to say using BBTS as a sales reference now since its rumored their future HT allotments have been reduced. I, at least, hope for a Faora to be made which would pretty much fulfill my MOS wish list. In fact, I'd rather see her before Jor-El.

I am getting every MOS figure Hot Toys puts out so I hope they keep them coming. I've got Superman & Jor-El preordered and Am impatiently waiting on Zod. The quality on the ones shown so far is amazing and-- after all the Batman and Iron Man movie figures--it's about time the Superman franchise gets some love. Now bring me Faora, Ma & Pa Kent, and variants on the existing figures' costumes.

I suppose it depends on whether they've used correct grammar etc. I read it as "anyone else besides superman, Jor el and Zod? Faora maybe?"

Maybe if he meant more figures besides Superman, then good chances are that we're getting Faora, after all they already did Zod and Jor El.

Of course I would like them to go as deep as possible into the Man of Steel license, but I would be okay with them stopping with Faora. So long as they do make a Faora.

Yeah, I'd go as far as to say that even though people wanted Zod bad, they would want Faora even more, I know I wanted Faora more than Zod.

Well you'd think, but I suppose that even with a reduced allotment of stock, as they come to them from SSC anyway, a 100% sell out at BBTS would still tell them something.

My thoughts exactly. Really holding out hope that Faora will be announced at some point in the near future.

I think we may get Faora, because I will be really surprised if they don't get Loki numbers out of Zod here once he goes up. And it seems like everyone, their little brother and their cousin already has Superman on order.... I have far from given up hope regarding Faora.
