They really don't seem too bad for their price point. For both Zod and Faora, is the likeness in-hand acceptable?

To me I think they're pretty damn good. I think both actors likenesses are definitely there.

That's be kind of insanely awesome if they included interchangeable masks (like the faces with their cowled figures). An opaque one, a mid-transformation one, and a translucent one.

Do we get the Zod face sculpt revealed today? No, we do not. Instead we get..... wait for it..... "Midas" Iron Man.

Tell me about it. Got called "whinging 3 year old" by someone in the Marvel thread just for pointing that out. The Marvel section seems to be overrun by 5 year old to young adults and they don't even care that there are people out there still waiting to get their hands on the Amazing Spider-Man figure that has been on hold for who knows how long.

The wait on Zod will be a good long while, regardless of what they do with Iron Man. No rush. Superman and Jor-El won't even release for the better part of a year. Zod thereafter. No use fussing about it. I'm surprised they've unveiled as much of Zod as they have.

Still ... I'd be more irritated at this deluge of Iron Man announcements if I were an Iron Man guy. I rather like that Hot Toys only unveils two or three figures a year that I'm even remotely interested in. I'd rather they didn't unveil 10-at-a-time.

You're one of them Marvel die hard fans then? You were joking I assume?

I think the Man of Steel line did have the potential of getting the ASM treatment from HT if it didn't have 3 figures lining up because Superman has the same type of material for its suit and the body is also custom made, just like Spidey's.

Yes we are aware the wait will be "a good long while," that is why people want the preorder up already - because then we'll know it will be one year before the figure ships after that.

If anyone wants to cite the behavior of actual three year olds, I would say it is people crowing about "I gots mine, u get ur own HAHA WE WIN!!11!!!!!" over in the Iron Man threads. Jaysus H. it is unbecoming.
