Finished this piece this morning. I'm really happy with the results. Granted the suit isn't as "skin tight" in the neck as it appears on screen. Due to the design of the neck and suit, it's the closest I can get it. Had to dremel the neck around the base to allow the suit to sit closer to it, verrrrrry tedious adjustment, but makes a big difference in the silhouette. The dremeling is all done on the outside of the neck adapter, so the connection and articulation is not changed.

Most impressive! :clap:clap:clap

Cross-posting from the Mysterio thread. Wanted to see if I could pull off a fight pose between these two with just one flight stand by balancing Spidey on Mysterio. Thought it could be possible because Spider-Man’s such a light figure.

Maybe a unpopular opinion, but this suit is superior to the final red and blue suit.

The clean sharp belt, the vibrant red and black, the textures and contrasting white spider emblem…

*chefs kiss*

Definitely using this as my Holland Hot Toys figure.

I think it's great we all have our preferred versions of a figure/character! I can see why some would prefer one suit over another, and for me I'm sort of hard pressed to choose my favorite of all the MCU spider suits  there's always going to be newer ones in the future too :lol

I bought one of these little LED lights with brightness, white balance and color control for up to 360 possible colors and have been playing around with it. I think it’ll be great for adding accent colors, or in-camera light spill from lightsabers, muzzle flashes, etc.

Reshot my Mysterio vs Spider-Man photo with some green spill and illumination on the smoke :)

Great shot! How did you create the smoke?

Thanks! For the smoke and other environmental elements I just do a google image search, steal something that looks good and Photoshop it in. Some day I want to do my own smoke using this though:

Thanks a lot, I did not know that product. I always looked into dry ice, but it seemed to much of a hassle.

I am considering that, but it is not cheap, but also cheaper than other solutions:

Amazon

The Photoshop way looks pretty nice, I guess I‘ll have to watch a few tutorials on that. 😅

Smoke Ninja is probably the ultimate for this. I contemplated getting one until I saw the price!

The one thing I ask myself is, if those liquids used to create the smoke/fog would leave any residue on the figures which could damage the materials.

Don’t know if there is an expert section in the forums for such topics.

Yes that’s one of the reasons I’ve never really done it. I know Adam Savage has promoted it on his Tested YouTube channel, could ask him :)
