Finally back from Uni for the summer and can set my figures back up!!! I started with this guy and he absolutely lives up to the hype. What an incredible figure. Really looks like a miniature version from the bloke in AotC!

So, got my Jango in the mail yesterday.

Opening him up today and setting him up to find this on his ab plate.


Something tells he those deep scratches are not supposed to be there.....

Funny thing too is, way back when I got the SS 1/6th Jango he too came damaged. The little missile tip on his left gauntlet was broken off and loose in the tray.

I guess I will just forever have bad luck when it comes to Jango..

So, in merely a few hours Sideshow already has me set up to receive a replacement body...

The armor otherwise was nice and evenly spaced. I just hope my replacement doesn't have wonky off set armor pieces... That would stink.

With the cost of these things, this is why I have always preferred dealing with SS directly. Problems are always resolved pretty easily and quickly. Buying from another Vendor, no matter how big or trustworthy and great they are, problem solving could take weeks. And most likely they want you to return the figure 1st, then wait for a new one.

Only silver lining is since these pieces are velcro, it should be an easy replacement from Sideshow CS and you’re golden shortly.

Except those pieces are not Velcro. They’re bolted in. But it will be easy enough to to switch the whole vest.

Yeah, between that, the Din/DW thigh pieces, and recently adjusting the neck armor on my Acid Boba, I assumed everything was velcro.

I have reviewed your pictures and compared them to our in-house sample and a few other pieces.

However, I do not believe we can provide you with a replacement that would be a significant improvement over your current item. Keep in mind that all of these collectibles are hand-crafted by individual artists, so there will be slight variations in the cast, fit, and detail work between pieces.

They seem to be dishing that out to a lot of people these days
