Don't get it- more hype for this character who was hyped and turned out to be totally worthless in TFA? So now she sudden;y becomes ultimate bad***????

Maybe she is the reverse Boba Fett, starts out lame and ends up a badass.

I like it. I'm interested in a figure as long as I can budget for it. Helmet and Christie sculpt should both be included.

Nah, I'll be one of those guys happy with the original version I got at a really cheap price.

But I think Phasma must be one of the loudest fan outcries of TFA. Am sure Disney heard it and will make it right this time round.

Don't know about the toothpick though. Maybe I'll be able to get that parted out if it is cooler than her golden gun !

I would just go with my TFA version of Phasma as well. But since I want to get TLJ Kylo, I think having a new Phasma to pair with him would look great. As long as I can afford it though. Just looking at those magazine covers I want pretty much everyone except Hux and the new Rebel girl.

I don't blame you. I've been super tempted to get Phasma many many times. For me it's been a matter of space. I'm also thinking long term--I know I'll want to get figures from Last Jedi, so figures like Phasma and even Kylo might be good ones to skip from TFA in favor of future movie versions.

Yeah, there will always be better versions. But I also thought how can they change Phasma that much ? OK a clean look, and a different weapon. I still like the "lived in universe" version of Phasma with the not so polished armour. But I'm sure I'll probably eat my words when they show the new shiny version.....

They still have the free deal don't they ?? Buy 2 troopers and get her free. Sell the 2 troopers and she will be very cheap. That's what I did.

I'm more than happy with my TFA Phasma as well. I especially love her rifle too, so I don't care about her metal oversized toothpick.

On that note, I'll always prefer my Chrome shiny, so if I have an option, I'd probably bite on a TLJ version if that's the case. Worst case scenario, I'll have a Phasma for display in my office.

I'm another that doesn't necessarily have to have a Brienne of Tarth version. I'm even a little annoyed that they didn't maintain her mystery.

But who knows, the movie could easily make me change my mind.

I hope she plays a bigger part in the next film. In the EP VII previews she looked like such a bad a** but her character came across as weak in the movie. I expected so much more so hopefully she won't disappoint in the next film.

You can be sure Hot Toys will definitely make that Asian Female at the expense of more worthy characters.

It will be funny if she has a massive part in the next film but Hot Toys deciding not to make another figure of her because the first one did not sell well.

Have a little think about which figures (and their nationality) were released for Rogue One.......

I am Asian and from Hong Kong. I am pretty sure most Asian guys won't buy that figure if it was ever made. Guys are buying the Asian general girl from the Great Wall movie and I probably would too. Now, I don't know about Baze but Donnie Yen is huge in Hong Kong and Asia so that is a no brainer.

I accidentally popped a kneepad off so I have to glue it back. Otherwise for the price I'm very happy with it. The only way she could fit in there was with a walking motion until I figure out somewhere else.

Everyone dumps on her appearance but that's because she was overhyped. I sort of see her as like Darth Vader. Not the Vader we know now, but the one Mr Plinkett described in a review where he was originally just some ******* who was like a SS officer carrying out orders. Imposing, but the galaxy didn't originally revolve around him. She's like a purer forceless form of that. No absurdly grand backstory. Just a really skilled and menacing 2nd in command. I imagine her being super pissed off and intensely focused kind of similar to Vader. Maybe hunting for Finn because he's a traitor who embarrassed her. We'll see.

You realise the kneepads are connected by velcro right?

Yeah it's the velcro I have to glue back on though

Ah hahaha, actually I think the same thing happened on mine. I wondered if these figures having been sitting on the shelf too long was the cause.

Hows the articulation on yours? Some people complained about her articulation but the one I got recently was pretty great.

It's...fine. Same sort of restrictions as stormtroopers but can move well enough.
