I know I'll be getting Rey, eventually, but I have yet to decide on BB-8.

If I pick up Rey, it'd have to be with BB8. It was a fun character, but aesthetically speaking, the contrast of high-tech with the grounded, low-tech look of Rey's scavenger outfit is an important part of the Star Wars look, IMO.

It's always a gamble with waiting for a coupon. I don't risk it for exclusives. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. I saved 20.00 waiting for this one but ordered Maria Hill right way which could have waited. Never can tell.

Yeah, I wish I hadn't ordered Maria Hill on the first day. It's a decent figure but not worth full price. It was probably the most unexciting figure I've opened lol.

The Rey with BB-8 was a no-brainer for me. Some of my favorite characters from the the Force Awakens. I'm not sure if I will get Han(TFA) since I already have the ANH version.

Great point. :duff

I'm not the biggest fan of the little droid but I don't doubt its import to the story. I'd definitely get Old Man Han.

To me BB-8 was just an Artoo clone. I didn't dislike him but I'd rather just have Artoo in the role.

I'd be down for old Han too. I'm surprised they haven't teased him already.

I actually picked up two Reys. I initially just PO'd the single Rey figure, but then I decided that I wanted her posed both with the lightsaber and also her scavenger look, so I decided to PO another one and display one with the lightsaber and the other with the scavenger garb. The second one I PO'd was the set with BB-8.

Having seen the detail of the sculpt on this one I am soooooooo tempted! Originally I was only going to stick with Ren from the new trilogy, but I would love a 1/6th scale BB-8 and Rey just looks fantastic!

My only concern is how the final product will turn out! I am just stuck with Maleficent in my head, the proto was absolutely superb, but then the final piece was released and it had gone from a mini Jolie to a plastic Barbie doll with horns!

I've got bloody Darth Vader still to be delivered although they took the payment upfront! Now I want this as well as SS C3PO and the new Darth Maul. Ahhh!!!

I am well on the way to needing a 4th detolf. I still remember the days of only having one figure, the original BR Joker. Then I got the Reeve Superman and kept both in their boxes for months because I had no suitable place for them.

I don't think I have space for another Detolf :(

I had one, and swore i'd keep the collection small.
Then i got two that gave me a bit of breathing room. It was so packed in two, that i bought three more and spaced them out(But five were still looking full somehow), and i bought a sixth one. It's never-ending. As i have no more room for more, i had to design myself a new one that's the width of five and twice as deep. And i just *know* as soon as i get all the stuff in there, it will also look full...

The flood gates open quickly. I pre-ordered Hoth Han, and then before he was ever delivered I had the Snowtrooper, Probe Droid, Vader, and then after seeing the Probe Droid and Snowtrooper in person I had about 10 other pre-orders. Haha. Only have the one detolf, but it's overflowing. Need to move so I can have a better set up.

:lol that's a brilliant progression. Mine was much the same, I have 9 now.

Thanks. I had to hunt around to get them all in a line. I am finally getting started on my new unit. Using five detolf rear glass panels five detolf metal frames(Chopped and extended for depth), custom top and bottom pieces, custom sides and custom doors.
It's less wide that five detolfs(As there are no missed spaces between like detolfs have), and has about the same internal volume as ten. I have the shelves and doors ordered. Should be here in about ten days.
Do you have a pic of your setup?

This is just a normal detolf side panel in there as an impromptu shelf.

That's an impressive custom detolf, looking forward to seeing that completed.

Looking at everyone's shelves makes me realize I need to start buying lighting strips. I'd like to take pics of my figures but the lighting conditions in the room are terrible for that.
