It really is. Its 70% Wolverine 30% Jackman. I bet they'll make it look more like Jackman, but there is part of me that hopes they don't.

In two halves about this. On one hand I want to get it because if they do end up releasing subsequent figures from the original X-men trilogy then he's a must have.

On the other hand, I collect these for the movie versions not the comic versions, he doesn't look enough like Hugh to warrant a purchase to have him on his own. I don't really get how they can go from the pretty great Origins sculpt to this underwhelming one.

Yeah.. I must say, the head looks more like Mr Jackman there. It is a nice sculpt anyway.

As mentioned earlier, if he indeed DOES come with a change civilian clothes.. I might be tempted. Maybe.

I do want a nice 1/6 Wolverine.. & don't have one yet.

That head is awesome, I really want this wolverine in my collection for sure. I have the first one by and it is one of my top 5 favs to this day, they really made an awesome body for it with the painted hair and the metal claws. Wolverine is my second favorate marvel superhero and such a badazz that posing this version with the growling head on the shelf will look sooo awesome, I can't wait, getting two for sure!!!

Eh, it's not a bad figure by any means but I never really liked the Wolvie design in Singer's films.

While the HS doesn't look like Jackman, it is a good Wolverine. Still like the origins sculpt better though.

My only concern with this wolverine figure is the black outfit staining the body under the suit, I know its a little early to worry about that but still hope that hot toys avoids using materials that may stain the underlaying body.

While staining is annoying, why should they necessarily worry about it, the body is meant to be under the suit.

The likeness is okay but the teeth don't like right. I know thats nitpicking but they really need to be fixed.

The upper lip needs to be fuller I think, which might make a difference.

This is true, however maybe its just me but stained figures is one of my biggest pet pevs, I know I would likely not even take him out of the suit but then again I might so I would like to have the option. I'm not saying it will stain I just hope it don't. I also wonder if they will paint the hairs on the body like the first one, I hope so.

There's a good amount a Jackman in some pics and zero in others. It definitely needs tweaks. 3 years or so newer than the Origins version and no signs of an improvement. The biggest let down would be if they continue the line with solid attempts and Wolvie ends up being the runt of the pack. But everyone will end up getting him anyway cause how the hell can you have the rest of the line and no Wolvie?

Yeah, I figure Wolverine will see some improvements, hopefully. I just hope they give us Cyclops next. Stick with the big guns and the unique looking characters like Nightcrawler.
