I could do with the delay but then again it'd probably just mean it'd be put too close to another bunch of releases I've commited myself to.

Yeah, I asked them as well and haven't heard anything back. Alterego still says they'll be getting him in 2 to 4 weeks.

That'd be great because that's who I ordered from, but highly unlikely since they get their stock from Sideshow (I believe).

I always order from them, so far they've been really reliable as to there estimated release dates.

BUT, I think they are supplied by Sideshow. My last hope to get B. this year is through Jackyonfire in the FS section.

Well then you didn't read any of the complaints. They had nothing to do with wanting him to look more like the traditional Predators - on the contrary they had everything to do with wanting him to look accurate to the film. In fact this berserker from HT looks far more like a traditional predator than he should! Those were the complaints about the face.

as far as proportions the complainers had come to terms with the head being on the small side - we simply wanted him to be as large as HT let on he would be. This is a complaint that should have been shared by all. Why anyone was defending HT on that is frankly mystifying. But anyway it is what it is and I'm over it. I'm only bringing it up again because people seem to have misunderstandings and a condescendingly dismissive attitude about perfectly legitimate complaints.

Despite all that the recent pics have made me for one look on the figure more positively, hes still quite a beast!

I understand what was said but I don't agree with it. Hot Toys has created exactly what I was expecting. I'm not disappointed about something that I don't see as a problem. He is accurate to the movie. The adjustments made were for the better. The greater majority of those that have been complaining lately have decided to buy, so the pros must obviously far outweigh the cons. So all the cursing and accusations were silly, I think.

I normally buy my HT from china but will hold off if there is a improved one coming out

Not sure what this latest buzz in this the thread is all about.... Hot Toys hasn't said anything about any modifications to the design at all. There is no way they are going to mod a figure that doesn't need it. The figures would already be on the boat from China to the US. They would be making all the other figures they have scheduled anyway.

Its by no means a disaster how it ended up. I guess what bothers me is that the way it was advertised seemed to indicate an acknowledgement by HT that their preds have all been undersized to some extent. Sure people are now happy to rationalise that berserker is now accurately scaled to the P1 as they appeared in Predators but the problem is the P1 himself is undersized. He should have been bigger and berserker should have been bigger again. We thought he was going to be unique in being more accurately 1/6th in and of himself. Bear in mind the predators are intended to be bigger than the actors who wear the suits.
Thats where the disappointment comes from.

But not to end on another complaining note, I'm being a sucker, I'm getting him as he still looks excellent.

Who cares as long as they look good, that's all that matters to me. I see more right with things than wrong.

Toys2 just confirmed with me that berserker pred should be arriving their on the first week in December . Looks like I will have a nice gift for Christmas .

In other news I found one on Ebay thats actually cheaper than my PO and its in stock, only issue is that the seller only has 6 feedback...seems a little iffy....

the Pred should look a lot bigger than WM though. Another set of great pics, you guys bickering over the height are gonna regret it when you have to pay double the price.

Just got my Berserker Predator today. An absolute work of art. He has dethroned Elder Predator as my favorite hot toys figure. I know there have been a lot complaints about him but once you have this figure you will want to make him the centerpiece of your collection.

Summary post

1. Berserker predator from Hot Toys is the best berserker figure in the market.

2. Hot toys Lied us about the size of Berserker predator , using a picture
that given us false hopes about the height of this figure.

3. Berserker predator from Hot Toys is inaccurate on height , because
is based on the size of predator 1 that is a midget , the dreads are too short , the head and bio are too small and the lack of accesories makes the price be too high

4. Hot Toys will not improve the mold or sculpt of the berserker for now , maybe in 3-4 years if they will redo the character.

5. We will forget Hot toys lied us and buy the Berserker figure , now or in later because is a great figure.
