I find it funny they make a new body that's proper 1/6th scale for a 7 foot tall predator, but the predators in this movie weren't 7 feet tall....

Lol...oh well, at least we have continuity with the figures.


~~If Hot Toys makes the Falconer and Tracker Predator I would imagine they would keep the face similar to the Berserker, but alter the pattern and/or colors to fit the characters. At least this is what I'm crossing my fingers for. I don't want to buy a Predator only to have no option of taking his mask off.

Maybe they really should throw in a broken mask with Berserker for Predator 1. If they make another Predator 1 it would be like a kick in the mouth to all the collectors who has already picked up Predator 1.

They will show there faces, you didn't see Chopper or Celtic Preds faces in the movie but the figures had removable helmets. It would be a step backward for HT if they didn't come off.

That still won't stop them. I mean how do you think the guys who bought the V1 Joker felt when the much more accurate Bank Robber Joker was announced only to release the DX Joker less than a year the BR Joker.

The best 1/6 skull and spine I ever saw was with the old Airfix/Craftmaster skeleton kit from the '60s.Do nt know how hard that would be to find today though-or how expensive.

Nope, it's way off. Just imagine trying to fit in a lower jaw bone, a rib cage, floating ribs, and the two Iliums to form the pelvis, and you'll see that the spine is not long enough.

The best I've seen is the one from the Bones Book and Skeleton:

Which by the way is the same skull used on Hot Toy's skull and spine trophy you see up there. Hot toys modified the connector to the spine and glued the skull segments together and filled in the joints, but the face sculpt on the skull is identical.

If they were going to copy the skull, they should've also copied the spine which is in true 1:6 scale.

Actually the idea of a predalien is brilliant. As awesome as the regular alien is, it was described as "a perfect organism" in the first film. And what would be more perfect than a parasite using its hosts DNA to develop its own in order to survive in the environment the host can live in?
