Thanks Cdiesel09. I'll try and keep them shorter and add more paragraph breaks when I have a long post. Hot toys is doing an amazing job with these figures. I wonder if they hand paint the head sculpts on all their figures? The detail and paint jobs on all their figures are amazing!

You know, I can't believe that after all of the comments about the head being too small when the figure was announced, Hot Toys actually made the head smaller from the prototype to production. Still a great looking figure, but some very questionable choices on the head and face.

I agree. It's kind of strange how they went with a small head, when most of the past preds they made had big heads. but the overall proportions on the figure in relation to the head look nice, even if it isn't movie accurate. In fact, some people are going to hate me for saying this, but I think hot toys version of this figure looks better than the movie.

Well I just received mine so I'll just post my thoughts on it, regardless of what's been going on in this thread so far. This thread has been moving so fast I gave up trying to follow it. haha.

Anyways things I did like about it:

The added weight people were talking about is there, but I wouldn't go so far and say its much heavier than the other preds.

I'm pretty happy with the hair length. It is much longer than the other preds.

I am however very happy with the paint aps. Really really well done in my opinion.

Things I'm not so crazy about:

I was always under the impression that the berserker predator had more of an elder predator head as opposed to a classic predator? Like the forehead is much larger? (Sorry I'm still new to predators so not familiar with the terms) This berserker hot toy has more of a classic predator head? Which I find disappointing.

Height/size wise, next to my guardian and lost predator you could see it is bigger but from the movies I would have expected the predator to be even larger.



Due to the paint aps, this is probably my second favourite predator in my tiny collection. I'm really happy with it considering the steal I got it for. Man I really hope something changes and the falconer gets a face too!

I'm not ____ing amused, mine showed up looking like this:

Some bastard, be it a custom official in China or whatever, opened it,(the twistys were gone), and basically wrecked the ____ing box.

Not only that, but one of the open mandibles is missing:

Now, luckily, the figure itself is okay.
I've contacted my seller, sent him these pics and he said I could send it back for refund.

Here's the thing, I don't want to send it all back. Who knows when the hell it'd get there, possibly in worse condition, plus paying the postage is a pain in the ass as well. I just need one, or a set of mandibles,(and I've told him this).

Should I just take this on the chin and chalk it up to bad luck? I can get a spare set on ebay cheap enough, I'm just ____ed off!!

If the figure itself is still perfect I think I'd rather keep it and try your luck getting another mandible from ebay. However, the box and that is all part of the package. Having to send this guy back and wave buy to him would be hard.

Damn right it does! Gorgeous photos, thanks for sharing. The paint and finish on this figure is incredible. The way you've posed the dreads makes him look significantly better; so many people just leave them all tucked behind his head, which from the front makes him look bald. Well done!

Luckily, my seller has been super.

There was a set of mandibles going loose of $17.50 shipped.
He refunded me that amount, so I could order them right away.

Makes me slightly less pissed, lol
