it boggles me why they made two Sarahs for T2 but none for T1, her role was more significant in the first.

What are you talking about? We've had (so far) one teaser of Technoir Arnie. Nothing else. Technically we're not suppose to even know anything until tomorrow.

I'm sure they were testing the waters with the regular Sarah release. Maybe they could do the same thing with an 84' Sarah ............. just add something we'd kill for.

I think they might stick with three characters for the T-1 license like they did for their T2 line. T2 line's characters were T-800, T-1000, Sarah Connor. We got two versions of Sarah/ T-1000 and I'm definite we'll get one more version of the T-800 either as a DX or as a Final battle/Cyberdyne figure. With the T-1 license I'm positive we'll get Tech Noir/Surgery T-800 and Police Shoot out/Battle Damaged down the road, Reese 84', and hopefully an updated future Reese, and last but not least a newly tooled Endoskeleton with hopefully a really awesome half endoskeleton accessory. I'm simply looking at this from the stand point of us getting 3 characters from T-2 which leads me to believe we'll get 3 characters from T-1.

Why such resistance to a T1 Sarah? I know it wouldn't be the most exciting and marketable figure but its up to the toy company to worry about that and maybe dismiss the idea completely - and they will, they'll do it all on their own without any of us having to back them up. I don't see why we the consumers need to balk at the idea since it would complete the T1 collection of core characters. Theres only 3 of them for gawsakes. It would be a good thing for us, but not the most profitable for Hot Toys. I just find the responses here strange - not just "I wouldn't buy it" but "punch me in the face if you catch me even considering it"?? What? Why?

Also just watching T1, something I didn't notice before, just after the "F you a$$hole" scene when he leaves the apartment to find Sarah's mums house, he isn't wearing the boots. Theres a full body shot of him and instead he has on these beige looking shoes.

If HT make a T1 Sarah and I buy it I want someone, anyone, to come to my house to punch me right in the face.

Why? What do you have against Sarah? Its not like having her posed with Arnold aiming a pistol at her face or standing behind a shotgun wielding Reese would suddenly invalidate the fact that its a TERMINATOR collection.

I'm unable to separate my internal desires from unemotional logic once action figures are involved.

I'm the same way. But having said that, I do think there is a good chance for Reese, assuming Biehn will allow his likeness to be used.

I'm a total puss and super soft when it comes to Reese... Think about it. He's in love with a woman he has a photo of so he goes back in time and faces certain death just for the opportunity to save her life. I'm no fan of love stories, for the most part, but when they're mashed into a Sci-Fi thriller I'm all over it.

Gaaaaaaaaay.

I would also buy an 84 Sarah. They did freakin' 2 of them from T2. Why not 1 from the superior Terminator movie?

Like I said, if they add some bonus item an 84' Sarah would sell VERY well. Sarah with "big hair" would rock imo.
