It's not a HUGE deal but packaging is still important and this is their worst design yet. It's all about presentation. I expected reds, neon lights or something. I don't know.

Now instead of being in awe at the sight of the box and art (like I used to) when I crack these suckers open, I'm just going to tear into them like a wild man to obtain my prize (the figures).

And platty, it's not a flap. There aren't any folds or velcro/magnets. The outer box just slips over the main one. The bottom right doesn't have the T-800 text when it is unsheathed. It's just like the ____ty Judgment Day ones.

It was the only reason to buy dis cocsukyn release  :lol:lol:lol
Oh, yeah :lol

Weird that the boxes for the first Terminator figures are much, much cooler. But at the end of the day, the figure is all that matters to me. Hot Toys could ship these in a plain brown shipping box and I wouldn't care. And Hot Toys appears to have knocked this figure out of the ******* park. :rock

those who get this early, could you mind rubbing your fingers against the studded areas on the jackets and boots and let us know if its glued on tightly thanks!

I kinda like the box...kinda, although it´s really uninspired.
And I´m rather disappointed by the sculpt.
Who again said that it looks really pissed and the sculpt looked reworked?!

Sure it would have been nice if there were some nice graphics depicting the look of the technoir club but so what if there's not??? As long as the figure rocks who really gives a toss in the long run?
Remember the Resident Evil 4 boxes, Jeez they were interesting, you can either have a black box or a white box.

From Kidult toy store:)

..i like the box:)

the T2 boxes were nicer and should complement the T1 line, why didnt they use the same style who knows. the corner cut on the box is weird.

That and also: If the box depicts rather complex graphics it turns the attention from the figure itself.
So on this side of the coin, looks are concentrated to the figure...

The box sucks, I'm canceling my orders....

BULL____.

While the box does blow extreme metallic ass chunks, I've waited for this figure way too long to get butt hurt over the packaging. I just don't see why T1 and T2 get the short end of the stick. There's something wrong when Salvation looks nicer from the outside and there's no excuse with the current Platoon and Predators box art.

As for the figure itself, oh man, oh man. So tempted to just cough up $280 bucks to HAVE IT NOW.

so let me get this straight, the reason there is a cut in the coner of the box is so it is to make the Cyberdyne logo when you get all the other figures? (Reese, Sarah, etc) is that right their boxes will be cut in different areas?
