so let me get this straight, the reason there is a cut in the coner of the box is so it is to make the Cyberdyne logo when you get all the other figures? (Reese, Sarah, etc) is that right their boxes will be cut in different areas?

I think you're looking into WAAAAAY too much.

That's usually how this ____ starts too. Soon everyone will be like, "WHERE IS REESE AND SARAH HOT TOYS? YOUR PACKAGING PROMISED I COULD MAKE THE CYBERDYNE LOGO!".

It's not a HUGE deal but packaging is still important and this is their worst design yet. It's all about presentation. I expected reds, neon lights or something. I don't know.

Now instead of being in awe at the sight of the box and art (like I used to) when I crack these suckers open, I'm just going to tear into them like a wild man to obtain my prize (the figures).

And platty, it's not a flap. There aren't any folds or velcro/magnets. The outer box just slips over the main one. The bottom right doesn't have the T-800 text when it is unsheathed. It's just like the ____ty Judgment Day ones.

while i never give a ____ about boxes(i still treat them like royalty though lol) i was kind of hoping this box would be good.
i also expected reds or neon lights too.
oh well...the figure is all i really care about

EDIT: after seeing the video of the box, i think it actually looks ok...still couldve been better though but who gives a ____ really

As for the figure itself, oh man, oh man. So tempted to just cough up $280 bucks to HAVE IT NOW.

I actually think the box is pretty bada$$.
The subtle difference in the silver and those carvings look awesome and the cut on the downright revealing the T-800 logo underneath is a nice idea.
Dunno what you guys have, seriously...it´s simple and when you take it as a background, like I said...concentrates attention to the figure!

I agree with DiFabio in that the box is a little dissapointing. Tis nicely done but I was rather hoping for a more cult noir looking box. Something 80's and suitable basically.

But I guess Hot Toys have a branding regéme that they must stick too.

Flippen cool figure though! I only hope Loontenttoys will get in time!

Agreed... all my boxes end up in the closet or garage. Give the the figure and I'll be happy.

That said this box is boring, but not something I'm even close to worked up about.

Loonenttoys is a great seller and he usually ships on time but when i got my T2 T-1000 from him, it took what seemed like aaaaages to arrive....maybe because it was some kind of hong kong holiday or something?

i hope someone gets this guy soon as id love to see some in hand pics...although i will definitely get jealous lol
