couldnt agree more.
HTs would win either way but I too wouldnt have picked up the T2 line if HTs released the T1 first...as much as i love T2 as a movie and the figures themselves.

As much as i think the T2 figures look great, its just a line i wasnt really interested in. I just recently got the T 1000 though, purely because i wasnt sure if i might change my mind in the future and the price may have doubled. And i have to say, it looks great. So maybe i'll just do villains from both films. Haha.

Anyway, cant wait for this guy to ship. Hopefully it'll be the figure to restore my faith in hot toys.

Im not quite sure.
90% of the time, the logo is blue.
Ive seen a few white logos but red logos are quite rare.
doesnt really matter though imo.

Mine came today.Either Parcelforce poked a hole in the outer box or he tried to escape.It would nt surprise me,he looks alive in there and pissed off!!Pulled the cover off and had a quick look and then he went away until next Saturday,orders of my Sister.
Mark my words,Hot Toys best yet.Absolutely gorgeous.

You can beat me but T2 is much better in style than T1. The second damaged head is the onle incredible...

I really love the film T2, I perhaps like it more, but overall the style is actually what stopped me from buying that figure. The T2 T-800, with the glasses and jacket, is one step away from wearing a back-the-front hat, it seems to me. It's not a look I really like. The T1 T-800 though, all throughout he looks insanely great. He is the most pleasing Terminator, I say. He picked the right clothes to steal every time, right down to the glasses.

I ordered this through Angolz and am still waiting for it to ship. It's still listed as pre-order on there and so I guess I've got a good wait ahead, probably at least a week.

Ordered one from OSB and just ordered an instock 1 from HK. Intend to sell the second one but I bet I won't when it comes down to it. This figure is HT best yet IMO

I'm a massive Terminator fan but all this 'best yet' talk has got to be influenced by at least some degree of bias. Hes definitely a great figure, I can even say that without having him in hand, but realistically theres nothing setting him apart from other HT figures beyond the fact that hes a fully licensed T1 figure - the first ever...to my knowledge and that is a major factor rather than just an estimation of the quality itself.

Of course it's personal bias, I've seen plenty of figures get figure of the year comments out of people when there are other figures put out that year which show far more effort and skill to achieve. This is a great looking figure, but part for the course with HT. It's really hard to say what was HT's best accomplishment this year, I can't think of any figures they've put out that weren't pretty standard. They've got Iron Man down so those aren't anything too impressive now. I would say, as far as value you for your money, T-1000 was probably their best offering this year, you got a lot of stuff for a relatively low price.
