I have to think it will. I just can't fathom how they would pass on doing T2 BD...such a scenario would be the most mystifying decision of a toy company ever heard of.

Or a chromed T1 Endo! The fact it's from a different movie gives them one of those consistency loopholes they oh-so crave for making extra cash.

I credit Brad Fiedel for making T1 so memorable. Well that and a real mean Arnie.

Brad definitely had in his role in making terminator so memorable.
But Beihn did too...in fact they all did. I wouldnt change anything.

I certainly hope they don't not to do Reese just because they couldn't get NIKE to sign off on it. I'm sure they wouldn't be that silly, all they need to do is give him generic runners, anyone could paint the NIKE symbol on.

I was thinking this too. The Comedian just had a blank yellow badge, and i see that as a more important aspect than the nike logo in reece's shoe. Im kind doubtful (but definitely hopeful) we'll see a reece, but i certainly hope it wouldnt be not made just cos of the rights to the nike logo. As you said, i dont think they'd be that silly.

My only other real, serious desire from T1 is the police shootout version. Im really hoping they do that, and a reece would just be a bonus.

I almost sold my battle damaged endoskeleton, but I decided that I would just keep it. I don't want to end up endoskeletonless if they don't make a new one.

I have no doubt they'll do it ............... their strategies are just a little goofy at times. I just can't say the same for T1.

Agreed. I can see them doing the BD T2...but im getting less hopeful of them making a T1 Kyle Reese.
A T1 police station shoot out version is still likely, although im not holding my breath now.
But to be honest, id rather a 1984 Reese be made before another T-800.

Well yeah, that makes sense.
I wouldnt mind doing some DIY Nike ticks.
Id sculpt mine on though before painting them.

Hmmmmmm I don't know about that ............ I NEED me a Police T-800 before Reese but almost as equally NEED an updated Reese too. I was referring to the Police T-800 with my post. I'm sure they'll do at least a Reese. I must say, they've REALLY dragged things a tad bit.

I like the new direction HT's taking with their accessories. Makes them look way less-toylike.

The shoe design looked like the Reebok Alien Stompers, but there wasn't a reebok logo on them.

Then they should just do that, as one little detail shouldn't hold 'em back. After all, the main issue here is getting Biehn's likeness rights, no easy task it seems. A die-hard movie buff could improvise a little Nike swish on the shoes if they so choosed. Reese, chrome Endo, and BD T2 T-800. Those're what we need.

The guy gutted is Brian Thompson. I always used to recognise him in countless films when i was younger and always remembered him. He was also the bad guy in Cobra and in a few episodes of The X-Files.
