Not at all. Something to actually be pissed about is if there are missing studs on the jacket or he is painted with a wonky eye.

As I said most people (even posing them side by side) will not care. But they will be people doing that.

Yeah, it's "the same guy" but they're completely different characters/movies in toy form. The T2 T-800 has larger boots and spiked hair, the T1 T-800 doesn't.

I just, I don't understand. Plus, who's to say that the T2 T-800 is too tall and the T1 Terminator is the appropriate height?

Who the hell cares if the T2 T-800 is taller than this Tech Noir one? They weren't in the same movie and I doubt too many people display or pose them side by side.

Dont get me wrong, I dont care too much, but id just prefer him to be the same size, body-wise.
And seeing as its such a cheap and simple "fix", its all the more the reason for me to do it.
If the foot pegs are indeed shorter on the T1, then obviously the boots and hair are irrelevant.
And if hes still shorter after giving him T2 foot pegs then im totally fine with that.
That would just mean that the boots and hair are natually making the difference.
And besides, T1 is my favourite of the 2 characters, I wouldnt mind as much if the T2 was smaller lol

Again, judging from all the pictures ive seen of the two figures side by side, the body is shorter.
The cause of this is not the hair as you can see that the shoulders are at different heights.
I doubt the boots make much of a difference.
The fact is, someone said that the figures both use different foot pegs, so that is what I believe is the ONLY problem here.
Would it still be a trivial thing if one figure was 2 inches shorter than the other?
Just because you dont care, doesnt mean everyone doesnt care.
Personally, I like to improve my figures wherever possible.
If you dont like that, then im afraid you can do one.

This doesn't bother me, but I like my figures to be roughly in-scale with one another. Nit-picking on this is just an extreme version of that, so I can throw no stones.

If it's a different body, does the elbow bend tighter then the T-2? I could never get the shot gun to rest on his shoulder without popping the forearm out.

Speaking of the height, same actor, but aren't both Terminators the same model in the movie, T-800 model 101? Both are wearing boots so to me that doesn't make a difference. Yes one has a different hair style, but chin to chin, nose to nose one looks taller the the other from the pictures I've seen. I agree that it's the longer foot peg that makes this difference and I'm one of the ones waiting for T-2 foot pegs to correct this if it is so.

My T-1 want be here until Monday so I'll see for myself soon enough. To me If there should be a difference I think (personally) T-1 should be bigger not smaller, Arnold was younger and fresh off his body builder tournaments.

And I do plan on displaying them side by side, that is at least until HT comes out with more T-1 figures.

I for one am not complaining just tiring to offer a reason for the difference. I could careless that T2 looks taller I'm just excited to get this awesome fig.
I bring it up cause i just did a custom T-1000 and he was taller the only difference i could find was the shoes i used had taller heels and was thicker rubber.

Scratch that I do, just checked my Order completed email from Chris Taylor and Berserker. I've just never noticed before, silly me. However I definitely don't have a tracking number for this one. I only have 1 email of the usual 2 you get from Toys2 - 'order shipped'. The tracking number appears in the 'order completed' email which I don't have for this order for some reason.

I bet a Super Predator could take Uncle Bob in a fight. He would just keep shooting at their knees to no avail, as they shoved one of those robot falcon things right up his robot behind.

I plan on displaying them side by side as well hence MILD frustration in regard to height. I think it would be wise for us to remember that some of us do not collect the whole line when it comes to these things. I'm just interested in Arnie.
