Well, you can always buy a T2 body and use the T1 body for a Samwise Gamgee custom.

T1 is an appropriate hobbit sized body.

Looks like Hot Toys is maintaining the smaller scale for this character.

Arnie had to wear stilts in T1 to be as tall as his co stars. He suddenly had a premature growth spurt at the beginning of 1991 and that's why he looks a whole 1mm taller in 1:6 scale.

Hey guys, I know I'm late to the party here but I was reading through about the height issue and wanted to suggest something. I too am going to have both figures and I guess I won't know if it will bother me or not until I actually have them standing next to each other. However if you really want to change the height it would probably be better to make the T2 shorter. There is another thread on this forum that shows mods of the T2. Someone changed the pegs out in the T2's legs to make him shorter which make the pants baggier on the bottom and gives a more realistic look. He did this mod anyway even without the concern of having a T1 next to him. So maybe making the T2 shorter is a good thing regardless of owning a T1 or not.
