Just got him in the mail and all I can say is wow. Looks so much better in person like all figures do but this one is just plain awesome. Looks so great next to my T2. My only complaint is that his left leg is a tad longer than the other, but it's not that big of a deal. All the studs are there so I'm happy about that.

mine seemed that way as well....how do you fix that? Is there just a leg that isn't connected all the way?

I didn't really fix it I guess it could be that the leg isn't connected all the way. All I did was just bend that leg more to make it look more even.

where did you get the sunglasses for Arnie??? Those look like a perfect match from the film

The jacket and sunglasses are the originals from the old BD T-800 figure.., and as I explained before, I had to cut the gorgoyles sideburns (only the earpiece) in order to fit the sunglasses properly. :)

Man, all these custom Police Shootout Terminators. I guess everyone doesn't expect Hot Toys to make a new version?

I'm on the fence. Should I sell my MMS 02 while it's still hot ($350-$400 hot) thinking that Hot toys will make a Police Shootout, or just keep it and don't expect to see a new one, EVER?

I wish they could just tell us.

Sooo, after some crappy iphone pics the good stuff - done with a macro lense:

Well you could think about it this way. Does the MMS02 really fit in as a Terminator 1 figure? Sure it does, accessory wise, but it doesn't have that likeness of Arnold.

I personally believe that Hot Toys is bound to release another version of Terminator from first movie sooner or later, and it might as well be the Police Shootout version, they can't stop at just one figure after acquiring license to release Arnold's likeness. It's just not good business.

Even so, I did contact Hot Toys asking them about it. I'm not expecting them to respond with something useful.

Thanks for posting those pics, TFG. I've never seen them til' now, thanks again. I'm so jealous that I can't own that DVD or rather that its not available on Blu Ray as well. T1's due for an awesome BD update release.

He looks pissed!

"Giiiv dee Connah to mee"

Thats a GREAT looking pic! :clap

xenom0rph, awesome pics as well.

2014 for the 30th Anniversary.

A lot of great pics I see.

Valv's police shootout figure isn't half bad! Though I'm sticking to the assumption that HT is going to make one. I hope it has longer hair like in the film. The hair on the current BD head is a little too short overall.

Damn, A-Dev.
I just wondered where those eye surgery pics came from, searched a few (more like 2 dozens^^) pages back and found out I missed half of your pics.
Awesome what you did there!
:bow
What´s that mirror and what are you using as background?
Painted cardboard?

Thanks Endo, I like this 'custom' figure of mine - I don't seriously call it a custom because literally anyone could do exactly what I did as long as they had the MMS02 figure and a white shirt they don't mind cutting up.

The mirror is just a small woman's make-up mirror, I just shakily held it in front of the figure when taking the pics. The background is nothing, just black(ish) art paper bluetacked to the shipping box of the TDK Batmobile. So its not like I have an actual diorama going.

Just got my figure in... very impressive. I will say that I'm not as wowed by him as I was by the T2 Arnold, but I think a lot of that is due to some of the similarities between the 2 figures.

Still overall an awesome figure and one I'm stoked to add to the collection :rock

No pics just yet as I'm at work, but I'll be sure to post some later on :duff

Okay... that is the last time I open a badass figure at work. Got it home and now I'm completely in love :love

I guess my office is just not conducive to enjoying figures :lol Anyway, I'd say I actually do prefer this to the T2 figure; but damn glad I have both :rock
