Looks awesome man! :clap

Cheers buddy.

What is great is that there wasn't that much damage to the jacket in the movie but you can really go to town with this mod and really burn it and rub smoky ash into it and it looks great. I know it isn't movie accurate but sometimes that doesn't matter.

Awesome stuff, sidious.

I managed to get an t1 Arnie off eBay for a good price. Just waiting for the seller to ship. Can't wait!

Thanks mate.

You will be glad when you get your hands on him. He is one heavy figure.

I would advise you to go through this thread and look for P.'s T-800 pictures as I just stole his idea.

Sorry P. :nana:

when you name your inspirer, it's a cool advertisement and a very pleasant feeling, so thank you for that again :)
p.s. no that pose of burned punk is not from my figure, mine is walking like in the movie when he stood up with a "WTF, you're all gonna die" face :D
p.p.s. take some ash - black or better grey. rub it into his clothes - pants and jacket. that is not something seen on photos clearly but adds a lot of realistic view IRL.

No problem mate as I say your BD T-800 inspired me to doit for myself so it is all good.

Yeah I didn't mean the pose was from you I meant the mod and also I didn't want to rip you off with the pose as well. :lol

I actually burned some newspaper and pressed my fingers into the remains and then smudged it onto the jacket. The jacket (spare) was bought for that sole purpose and I don't think I would do it on the rest of his clothes as they are the only ones I have and I need them to pose the other head.

Maybe I will smudge some more ash on the jacket soon. I remember when I initially did it and the jacket smelled of ash for days.

Little mod to the Terminators jacket

Water + Hairspay + long dry

My T-800 is now suffering a little problem and I was hoping for some advice?

Basically the neck joint come loose when I'm swapping heads (it actually stays in the head hole) which isn't really a problem but pulling the peg from the head is becoming a real pain when I want to use the other head sculpt.

So basically my point is that since I was looking for a spare neck post and I can't see any on eBay but I do see a T2 MMS one and I was wondering if that one would fit this version of the Terminator?

Thanks.

The T1 & T2 bodies are the same so I would imagine it would be ok. The neck joints are notorious for cracking. I have gone through a few myself, I usually have to scavenge neck joints from other figs, as you said they never seem to be sold separately.

Thanks.

I have the same problem with mine mate, the t2 peg is fine.

Also has anyone removed the blood on the battle damaged head. Was wondering for the police version. Just hoping it didn't leave any lighter marks on the face

Yes nail polish remover gets rid of the blood but you have to then repaint the head as it also removes some of the head paint apps.
