Bad news buddy as my spare TTM-20 now has Bane's arms due to me giving the TTM-20 arms to Bane so that I could achieve the 'Boss' pose.

I already tried my spare jacket on the modified TTM-20 body and it looks great but as you say it would have been nice to have the double jointed elbows as that would have been great to use for some wicked poses, but it wasn't to be. :(

You can still get great looks with those arms, so no big deal :)

Is the zit cream taking the spots off your Bane?

It's funny, I was reading back through then thread and the T1 Vs. T2 started almost immediately. :lol It's gotten much worse lately.

There's no contest.

:exactly:

Movie wise, its T2 for me BUT I love T1 just about the same and its very close.

Fig wise T1 for sure!

Anything terminator outside of Cameron's films does not exist to me.

If only Cameron would return to the franchise and direct one or two future war era Terminator films... close it out right. Have that dark tone like the sequences from The Terminator and T2.

I think just one film would do the job. They keep insisting on trilogies which is frustrating because with T4 they start off in 2018, they don't get to the real meat that everyone wants, and when that first film under-performs they cancel the whole thing and we never get the meat. And they're making exactly the same mistake again with T5 which is apparently the 'first of a new trilogy'. Never gonna happen.

What the hell... We need a finished story already (done right). I hope this happens before Hollywood gets any reboot/remake ideas and start over.

The problem is really that delusional T2 fans won't man up and admit the superiority of T1. That's all they really need to do, and then all this debate would go away.

I know, it sounds crazy that this hasn't already happened, but I guess that's just how some people are.

Can't we just agree that T1 and T2 are both really good movies?

That and T1 is a little bit better...:lecture

T1 - Fat, post steroids Arnie with gay hair cut and equally gay 80s fashion sense goes on a rampage in search of Sarah Connor . . . a cheesy, perm haired waitress. Her protector? Sergeant Reese, played by crappy, cult favorite, B movie actor Michael Biehn. The movie doesn't know if it wants to be a crappy horror film or a crappy romance story of two star crossed lovers. Bad production quality and special effects that don't hold up. James Cameron has gone on record saying he isn't as proud of it and that he could have done better. It's aged horribly.

T2 - The action film of the decade. Arnold Schwarzenegger at his prime in his career who was given more lines because he wasn't a big, dopey block head like he was in the early 80s. Linda Hamilton churns out a strong performance without muttering "big buns". The villain is played by an intimidating, steely-eyed, Robert Patrick that's so imposing he puts the 80s Terminator to shame. Throwing around a cliched California surfer dude and his girlfriend who just got laid whose out for a midnight snack? Intimidating? This guy has blades for hands and sticks them through people's mouths. No contest. The production and special effects still hold up today and set the standard for action/sci-fi films. The future sequences are superior in every way and didn't look like it was shot in some smokey, haze filled garage.

I like T1. I like the story. I like the stop motion. It was pretty advanced for it's time.

Having said that, I can't really disagree with any of your points about perms and cheesiness.

Linda Hamilton's performance is razzie worthy, "ohhhh Kyyyyle".

The effects? I could make a more convincing stop motion Endo and surgery scene with my Hot Toys figures.

T2 is superior.
