Well if they released both figures individually then say they were at £150 a pop each and if they did it as a two pack then it would be priced at what, £250 - £280 so from a making money point then it would be dumb but then they may sell then by the bucket load if they gave us fans a little bit of a treat.

But you are right they will probably go do the individual road.

Also the DX10 and DX13 were DX figure this could easily be a MMS release.

It could also just as easily be a DX - & they'd choose that first. :lol

:lol

Yeah but the Tech Noir was just a bog standard MMS and to be honest the T1 T-800 from the Police station onwards would not need the PERS treatment.

I think it is on a tightrope and could go either way, MMS or DX but hey Hot Toys will decide that for us.

Yeah, I'd personally prefer them to stay away from PERS if there's a risk of the head sculpt suffering as a result of the eye holes killing all realism & the obvious hair plates they create for them.

I might also add, that the Tech Noir Arnold wasn't a standard MMS really - they don't all get two heads.

Basically all we can do buddy is leave it in the hand of the Hot Toys Gods and see what they do, should they ever get round to making him. :impatient:

Yep - that'd make an excellent version for sure. :rock

The skin looking all pasty & pale adds to the unsettling look too.
Yeah, that look best represents the horror component of T1 to me--threatening, inhuman, and incredibly disturbing. Once I get my modded head back, I doubt anything HT does will be able to really beat my police shootout bash. So for me, this is also the look I hope they really go for one way or the other. Usually I'm strongly anti-PERS, but considering the nature of this look where a fake head was used for some shots in the film, and the head looks so weird with no eyebrows anyway, I'm not sure PERS would hurt it much.

Totally - absolutely agree.

That scene is frightening in all the ways you mentioned - & the fact that the puppet took over, only complimented that. It was able to convey the way an actual damaged machine would look & act after suffering extensive damage like that (jerky movements / lifeless eyes), that a real person can't.

Brilliant stuff.

Needless to say, the first film ultimately is still the best to me. :duff

Interesting point. I doubt HT would be deliberately trying to make it look like the fake head but if the PERS ended up being its usual iffy self we could perhaps rationalise it that way, pretend its the puppet, which as you guys say does have an appeal.

Oh and how's the head mod coming along by the way?

Karamazov80, what mods you doing to the head? I'm doing a police shootout at the moment. Just interested :)

Commando is doing it, and just sent me some shots this morning! There was a little mishap with the nose that I am going to try to fix with some epoxy putty and paint matching, so my custom may take a bit longer to get fully put together, but the eye looks glorious! Very excited about this.
