Yeah, Cameron really is a great filmmaker. Some people crap on True Lies, but I thought even it was fun. Love Paxton's character in it.

Clearly, some filmmakers are just good, no matter what. I would add Spielberg to that list. But I think there's another example where the bigger the scale, the lesser the product in many cases. AI and War of the Worlds didn't have nearly the impact that Close Encounters or ET did, for example.

I agree on both accounts. I love True Lies. And that was Paxtons best performance as far as I'm concerned. It's not Cameron but I also really enjoyed Last Action Hero. It was fun and tongue in cheek. Plus, Charles Dance is just so ****ing awesome in anything he is in. "If God was a villain, he'd be me. " :lol

And yeah, ET/CEOTTK> AI/WW all day long. I didn't really even like WW. AI was only OK but too long I thought. At least that's what I remember of it.

And I don't need to tell you, T2>T1. :D

I'm afraid that the Terminator franchise we all loved is truly finished now, please Hollywood let it die.

I have no love for Salvation but introducing a new audience to Bale as the lead character was a total waste of time.

The problem is what made this franchise popular in the first place was the fact we were terrified as an audience.

Nor had the world had any bigger action star, when movies were an event. (if you didn't see it, it was gone forever)

If they do it, I hope it's rated R...

Do they even do that anymore???

I loves you, kara. :1-1:

Anyway, with all the dozens of Police Shoot out bashes I'm actually looking more forward to a T1 BD trucker. He looked truly terrifying. His eyebrows were gone and had blood pouring out of his face. The puppet version looked even more psycho.

Good call.
Yeah when he was really mashed up at the end after the tanker smashed into him, that would be a sweet looking fig, if HT ever pulled their fingers out.

A battle damaged T1 would be awesome.

Okay, if they're rebooting the franchise and recasting Sarah and Reese, why bring Arnold back?

Why not just cast a new actor as the infiltrating T-800? Arnold should be done as far as I'm concerned. He's an old has been. When will he, Stallone and the others get that in their head?

Strong words but I have to agree and I love Arnold. His last two "comeback" films prove he has no box office draw.....pretty soon he'll be on Sy Fy channel movies.

Yep - that'd make an excellent version for sure. :rock

The skin looking all pasty & pale adds to the unsettling look too.

Loving your work shells, fantastic mod.

Yeah I think Hot Toys would be wise to release the Police Station Assault figure with the Tanker Truck BD T-800 as one.

It would make sense but then again this is Hot Toys we are talking about.

You wouldn't want an all in one. Many corners would be cut.

They need to focus on a specific version - & give it the proper justice.

You think?

I'm thinking a super MMS release would be able to cover from the police Station Assault right up to before he is burned to a crisp after the truck blows up.

two bodies
two head sculpts
BD clothes and hands
regular clothes and hands
weapons

What the price would be, then that is anyone's guess? :lol

Well.. if no corners were cut - sure. That's not HT being clever & milking the line though is it. :huh :lol

If they were thinking along those lines though, why didn't they do it with the DX10 & 13 - cramming those together? Or for lots of characters that have the potential as 2in1s? They wouldn't do it unless they weren't revisiting the line / character from where I see it.

I could see them doing it for Anakin though..
