I'm looking for one "Terminator 1" figure but unsure between the police shootout/battle damaged version and this Tech Noir version. I like them both, although leaning towards Tech Noir due to the fact that it's not another black leather jacket wearing Terminator.

Would like to hear opinions from those that have both figures. Any minuses to the Tech Noir version?

Thanks!

I have both and I would suggest mms136 tech noir, much better figure in my opinion, I'm not a huge fan of the newer headsculpt

This is an easy one and in fact I was going to recommend it when we were talking in the DX10 thread - go for the MMS136 Tech Noir and then buy the pants and boots from MMS238 on ebay.

After getting two, years after it came out... I couldn't believe what I missed out on. I think overall, it's the best Arnie ever done, even with the inaccurate hair.

Should be shipping soon.

I'm pretty much done with my Terminator collection. Just waiting for this one and the pre-ordered CGL John Connor.

I would love to get another T-1000 to display in his biker outfit but that's an expensive endeavor...

If you're not playing the multiples game you could try to find a way to display the unused accessories and alternate parts -

There's someone who designs and sells movie-specific stands for Hot Toys accessories. Granted, I don't know how much they'd cost

I got them from Stoney Stands. He sell them through Facebook and the prices are quite reasonable [emoji106]

two nice auctions, maybe somebody will be interested.
i'm interested, but i literally don't have space for two more figures, though i'd like to add some poses.

28 bids with 5 days to go in the auction. ''I want to maximise what I end up having to pay by uselessly trying to stay ahead of everyone else at the start and encouraging rivals to do the same''

My "Tech Noir" Terminator arrived today and I'm glad I finally got this one back after selling him off several years ago.

It will be the only representation from the original Terminator unless we get a new Kyle Reese. Definite oldie but goodie!

(Fortunately, no missing studs.)

gangsta terminator makes P. sad :(
now what you need is replacing his pants and boots with MMS238 variant to get the best terminator figure except for DX13.

Awesome shots FlyAndFight!

I've said it many times but this is my favorite Terminator figure. The DX13 is all kinds of awesome, but this one has an overwhelming presence and menace to the sculpt and baggy M65 Jacket. You'd be a fool to be a Terminator fan and not own this.
