"Gangsta Terminator" :lol

I used that pose only because I saw a pic of it before and wanted to get the two weapons posed in use.

Will look for the replacement pants and boots but I have a feeling they will be pricey...

Thanks, Jameson! Definitely one of my favorite figures. Hot Toys nailed down the original Terminator here. A true classic figure.

If we could get a sculpt like this in 1/6 I would use the M34 body to make a custom

28 bids with 5 days to go in the auction. ''I want to maximise what I end up having to pay by uselessly trying to stay ahead of everyone else at the start and encouraging rivals to do the same''

precisely why I rarely will 'bid' on listings vs. the BIN or make offer. Some sellers 'make offer' is like set to automatically deny what seems like anything more than 5% off of the asking price. I personally hate ebay.....

i won items for half the usual price a couple of times, and i got 20-30% discount two times through make an offer dialogue. but yes, it's really rare, that's how much i can remember of all my ebay experience.
i love auctions, pity they are so rare today.

The sad news about Bill Paxton got me thinking about his movies again, including T1. Just a small part but a memorable line.

Congrats on the pickup Fly. :duff

I remember this was one of my first HT figs when I started collecting around 2010, couldn't believe how awesome it was when I got the figure. I was lucky that I heard about HT when I did, when they were making the Terminator figs.
I Still think they got the body proportions the best on the 136. Looks like a shrunken down Arnie!

I think HT done a great job on the punk t-shirt, its so screen accurate. I would love to get hold of a 1:1 scale punk t-shirt. I doubt they sell them but it would be cool to walk down the street wearing it.

Man Bill Paxton's death was quite a blow...came right in the middle of a recent resurgence that I have been having with the films of James Cameron...it prompted me to finally pick this figure up (my Cameron resurgence not Bill's unfortunate passing away) as I have been looking at pictures for awhile. It arrived yesterday and I must say that I think it is one of the best pieces that Hot Toys has ever produced. The shelf presence is unbelievable! No wonder this figure has really stood the test of time! A masterpiece!

No teasers, GIVE US WHAT WE WANT !!!!!!! :impatient:
alright here he is. i won't change anything else in clothes, i will only dirty them, but for now i like the pose and want to enjoy it before redoing everything again.

yes it's a very artistic interpretation of what was actually there. what was there was dull. i tried to keep the silhouette (torn holes, hanging parts) the same, while using different clothes.

photobucket shrunk everything again, i don't know why it started doing it.

anyway, no matter how amateur and inaccurate it is, it still turned out better than the first attempt (especially the gun that now is as proportionally accurate as i could achieve with zero fitting parts, first making the barrel from a pencil and now from an 1/6 WWII rocket launcher).

:lol yeah i had night time, just woke up.
yep it's the DChung head, it's just covered with some dirt on a future Reese.
thanks jacerc130 :) for now it's my favourite terminator, maybe because i started it about 2 years ago. the pencil gun figure photo is named day005, and latest photos are named day691, imagine the pause. when that phicen body appeared on market, i understood i MUST find a way to finish the gun.
but actually the most difficult part was haircut of a custom winter soldier head, i was so afraid to do it :lol

:lol yeah they have it on schedule - right after a battle damaged porcelain ironman made of actual porcelain :)
thank you guys.

P. thats a fine looking terminator for the future. After you dirty those clothes an the body its going to look great.

There is no Franco Columbu sculpt out there?? :rotfl
