God help me if ever I do see what I consider a big problem with a figure though the way this board has gone.

Yep, people shouldnt get moaned at for making suggestions on improvements.
I get moaned at a lot on other forums(mostly video game forums) for making suggestions, and its annoying because
all im doing is trying to help the product be the best it can be.
Im not getting involved this time though because im actually happy enough with it(which is a 1st for me)

no no not at all, it's a fine choice Game and I wish I had the space to do the same. just wish they sold miniature chairs and tables to really mimick the surgery scene. I hope you can take photos when it's all set up thanks!

when you listen to the Definite Edition soundtrack I get creeped out listening to that track for the surgery scene, very harsh sounds!

yeah, it wouldve been cool if they we included as a diorama.
im hoping to mimic this scene too...might end up making the chair and table myself if i think it can be done effectively.
and yeah, the soundtrack is awesome!

it is I complained about this yesterday but just wished that they would have included the end credits version of the theme song instead of that remix whatever that was as the last track.

if anything I'd like them to improve on is the period the figures are officially up for pre-order and shipment time. shorten it! fudge we have to wait end of September, all of October, all of November, all of December. too long! :monkey1

I cannot remember who else was in that group but I know I was one that was happy with the original head too and I certainly didn't cry foul like you are doing here.

Pointing out quantifiable discrepancies that can actually help the finished likeness is crying foul huh? It can go towards either extreme.
Either pointing out that the chain links is not accurate on the one hand or being happy with anything HT slaps their logo on on the other just because it happens to be the Terminator version youve been waiting for.

Yes the final head was clearly better but I still would've been happy as over all it was still a great figure.
Well then, Im glad HT didnt listen you and you're welcome by the way. Thank heaven I didnt settle with the rest of the crowd.
Plus Blade had a far less likeness to Snipes than what we have here.
But yet you still say you wouldve settled for it and been happy right?:lol

I don't think it's entirely unfair to say that some of you are expecting just too much. Some perhaps but not all. This is HT after all, they rise to the occasion about 90% of the time but sometimes the fans need to keep them on their toes.

If there was better T1 figure out there I'd say the complaints were maybe warranted. But there isn't better out there.
Poor logic imo. HT is competing against HT as soon as they issue the preview picts. They're basically soliciting collector feedback with these
previews and so far its a good system for HT and fans alike. As every sculpt thats undergone revisions has improved the final release. The feedback has served HT well as its helped put them on top.

If stuff bothers you that's cool but I just wouldn't voice it with such authority.
Ill try use less a-thor-itay.
You are obviously in the minority here.
As I believe I was in the Blade thread. Didnt realize this was a democracy. Sorry, but many of the members of the majority
have never really impressed me and lack a certain amount of credibility.

And do you have any idea how flippen hard it is to get likeness in art?? Flippen crazy hard is what!! :)
Very hard, but if any company can pull it off its HT

Just my 2 cents.
:wink1:

Ive been hoping someone would have the hi-res versions of these shots.

Yeah I wasn't trying to be accurate, I was just messing around, especially with the headsculpts. I obviously mix and matched parts. Some things like the gloves I left alone (he wears different gloves with the leather jacket look) and I didn't even bother messing around with the exposed Tech Noir pics.

I don't understand why so many people keep complaining about people complaining. You are all a bunch of hypocrites. At least the initial complainer is complaining about the product. Everyone else that says it's perfect and to stop nitpicking, would you be happy without a black shirt for your T2 T-800? Or no falcon for your Falconer? Without people making their voice heard, we would all be stuck with less than perfect figures for every release. Isn't it the purpose of this forum to discuss the figures? I still want the bar scene dio with Tech Noir in LED's, or drop the price $20. :peace

That looks pretty spot on to me. Gutted they couldn't of taken note and included his leather jacket and shades but i don't blame them wanting to milk this licence

Well, obviously im going to display the 2 different looks(Technoir and arm-surgery)...just havent decided the poses yet.
and with the 3rd one, im either going to customise it into a police station shoot out, create another look(wearing no jacket?) or keep it new in the box....im really not sure yet so sorry about the boring answer.
?

WIth the third one, bandage up his damaged arm and hand, take off the jacket and recreate eye surgery scene! ;)

of course man, i wasnt particularly going for accuracy either, or nit picking your edit or whatever...i just thought id neaten up(if you can even call it that) what you did.
just think of it as a collaboration or something.

Anyway, is there anyone who translate what is on those hi-rez milk pics?

Excellent idea!

It just makes more sense to release two different figures. Would you guys really have rather had a 2 in 1? If they made it that way we wouldn't have extra heads (we'd only be able to get two instead of four) and you'd still have to buy another figure and/or buy the pants, boots and body. With the popularity of Terminator, especially the first film, I'm sure a body, pants and boots would be atleast 100 dollars.

Two separate releases is way better, that way Hot Toys can spend time with each release (and of course perfect them), we get even more heads and accessories AND it saves us the aggravation and anxiety of fighting with hundreds of other collectors for the parts we need.

This is the last time I'll use this example, but look at the T-1000. Yes, that figure came with TONS of stuff but most people bought more than one and are looking for more parts. So if you're going to buy another figure anyway (or parts) you may as well buy another one.

:exactly:

Absolutely spot on my friend!
And im one of those people who will be getting a 2nd T1000 for this very reason(im still waiting for my 1st T1000:()
Im glad they are making 2 different versions(and yes, they WILL make another version!)
