That's a direct quote from HT in the artical, not speculation. But then, we still waiting the Matrix/Spider Man/Avatar etc.

It's still just chatter, it's not something oficial like a teaser image or check our newsletter next week for a preview of our Kyle Reese figure. Hell, HT's made official license announcements and done nothing with them. They have no issues mentioning things, even promoting them, and then doing nothing.

Bottom line, I wouldn't count on anything as a confirmation of release unless you get a teaser image or an official announcement about an actual figure. Loose comments in an interview just can't really be counted on with them.

I agree. There is still an unfinished Rorschach standing on there shelves who looks like he will never see the light of day

True enough, and more T-800s and Kyle Reese are favorable given HT's sales history, but, T1 Sarah, even with packed in goodies, there's just a lack of flash to her as figure, no weapons, it's just an 80s woman in a shirt, coat and jeans, it's not a strong design for a figure, and her story relevance won't be enough to sell it. You'd have to pack in something like the BD T-800 head to make her have mass appeal.

I don't get any virus alerts on the HK Hot Toys site (Using Opera) but that thing takes F'n forever to load. Every single page takes like over a minute to load up.. and I'm on broadband so to hell with all that. :lol

Oh man, this is awesome news! Awesome! A T1 Sarah! OMG! :panic: I hope they get the pink color correct on the backpack. And her hair, I hope it's the right 80's style. Oh man, oh maaaaaannnnn!

:nana:

Sorry to continue the off topic but I also get a warning message on google when trying to get on the hot toys website, they might be having a bit of trouble with it or something.

I just want to share some interesting info here. And you guys make me feels like I had commit a crime or something ...... :slap

There's nothing wrong with your sharing, it's fun information to read, but some folks take those articles like they're a concrete list of what's coming out for products, and often, they contain mentions of things that never come to be.

Every time I see a comment putting down this sculpt, I will post this picture to show how wrong you are

u can post all the pictures in the world, but i'm afraid it's not going to "prove" anything. it's simply my opinion that this portrait does not capture terminator arnie so well. it's not a bad likeness, it's just that by ht's usual standards, it falls short. if u feel it's perfect or good enough, then power to u, man.

tylerdurden I totaly agree with you dude :peace

The first one is 70% successful.

And keep sharing this stuff. We certainly don't intend to make you feel like you've done wrong. In fact if memory serves you've made a lot of useful finds and contributions to these forums not least of which was your own recent T-800 VS T-1000 pics thread, fantastic stuff. So please carry on as you are.

For me its like Dutch and T2 Arnold - the defining Arnie characteristics are there - they're just too squashed. The face should be more vertically stretched and this was proven to me by a photoshop edit & comparison earlier in this thread.

But, this isn't something thats going to be changed. Probably as much for consistency sake as anything, they wouldn't make this figures face longer than their T2 Arnolds face.

Don't listen to them. However don't be surprised if they come looking for you if there's never a Sarah Connor figure.

"Omg?"

I get that, but why "Milk?" WTF does that have to do with toys?

actually, "milk" is a fashion and lifestyle mag. it's from hong kong. it's got some fantastic coverage on pop culture stuff from all over the world, but usually focuses on the asian region. the graphic designers in my office read it religiously. good stuff, esp the dedicated section on collectibles.

yeah, i think u summed it up. the face IS a little squashed. i also wasn't a big fan of the t2 arnie.

...and i'm STILL waiting for a bd t2 t800! :impatient:
