What I love about this figure is that apart from being awonderful likeness, It feels very realistic to me as well as very true to how he appeared in the movie.

If you're a Depp fan then it's a must have as far as I'm concerned.

I'm a Depp fan and like how this one turned out, but I have too much coming in the next couple months. I'll have to pass for now.

mine arrived this morning , never saw the movie , this is the first figure I have bought without having some affinity for its origins . i have to say it is fantastic , the chair , the extras and the figure is menacing .

yep. sweeney is the latest addition. to the left are v1 sparrow, cannibal jack and a custom donnie brasco. would love any or all of raoul duke, willy wonka, ichabod crane, agent sands to finish it off.

Awesome! could I bother you for a pic of your custom Donnie Brasco? I love that film. Pacino and Depp were just magnificent in that film IMO

And Icahbod Crane is the next on HT list, so now it's just the waiting game :impatient:

Im doing the same thing. Got Sweeney, waiting on DX Sparrow and Ichabod. I waiting on picking up the HT Edward Scissorhands until I know for a fact that we wont be getting a better likeness version down the road.

Really hoping for Mad Hatter, Willy Wonka, Barnabas Collins, and of course a better, updated Edward Scissorhands.

Also, though not HT McFarlane did a really nice Corpse Bride Victor that would fit in nice on a Depp shelf.

Me too, waiting for the 'improved' Edward for a long time now. Hope they release it again. Victor and the Bride look Good! Tried eBay but didn't find that one. Any suggestions where can I find them, now?

Got Todd a couple of days ago but due to space constraints, haven't been able to display him yet. Nevertheless, he's a Wonderful figure!

Yeah now that HT seems to have a master Depp likeness thing hopefully they go back and do a proper Edward!

The Victor and Bride were the "12 inch Fasion Dolls from McFarlane". Theres also ones by Jun Planning, but those are 16" and wouldnt fit with the 12" HT so I went with the McFarlane 12" ones. They are that bad for those characters.

Ahhhh! I can't decide how many layers of clothing to display him with!!! Have him seated in his chair staring contemplatively at one of his "friends" in his right hand.

Me too, the problem is he looks good in every layer. :gah: But I had to strip him down to loosen his shoulders. So I'm going from less, and gradually building him up since the snaps are so thin and fragile. I even bought a spare grey jacket in case it breaks in the future from changing him up for display.

Small pose tweaks. He looks so god damn menacing. Way cooler than Spider-man that I recently got too.

I like his grey jacket the best. The long coat doesn't work well in a sitting position both visually and practically.

Can't wait to put Sparrow in the chair.

In this chair?

or the cannibal king chair?

I'm a Depp lover, but i don't think he would match with Nolan. Oh no.

as much as I like Depp, i'd have to agree. If Burton for some odd reason went back to make more batman movies, Depp would be a prime chose for the Riddler. but not in the Nolan verse

I always thought depp as the riddler being a completely subtle serial killer would have been a great batman character. Not the over the top laughing character but introverted cutter would have been fun.
