I have plenty of Hulks so i'm not that bothered if i don't like the HT one.

is it just more or does the shield seem to be chipped on the edges?

I thought it was just reflection at first but its visible in more than one shot

That's what was said abvout Iron Man. He had the same chips on his suit.

That's not what was said about iron man. He had "scratches" from day one. Not a single pic until these showed any signs of "wear" on the shield and it was never mentioned in any review.

It shouldn't have the chips. The shield is packed fairly tightly in the packaging. I can easily see where it could be chipped when pushed into the packaging or even pulled out.

There is also a tight fitting top to the packaging that could damaged the top surface as well.

I found mine quite difficult to open up and pop out

Very likely they do like their Bruce Lee body. Hoping for full muscle body like Leonidas but yes concern of falling apart in a couple of yrs.
