I don't see much of Sam Jackson in the sculpt, it's the wrong shape for a start, and the eye colour is wrong. I hope they fix it, because it looks more like Ice Cube as Nick Fury
Now the Madame Tussauds' one is a great likeness.

:goodpost::exactly::exactly::exactly: glad this time our views on the HS are similar.

Mighty not look exactly like Samuel L. Jackson (which like many here, I think it doesn't) but it's 100% Ultimate Nick Fury.

If it's cheap I'll get it. But HT have another thing coming if they think I will spend over $200 on this figure.

I'm normally not one to criticize, especially considering I couldn't do any better myself. But compared to recent Hot Toys releases, this likeness is kind of poor. As others have stated, the face shape, eye color, and skin texture is just wrong. I'm actually struggling a bit to see Sam Jackson in there at all. I really hope they improve upon this sculpt. Just not digging it. :dunno

Ultimate Nick Fury = Samuel L. Jackson
.........This figure =/= Samuel L. Jackson
...........This figure = Ultimate Nick Fury

. . .

Great logic :lol

Disappointing headsculpt imo, just something about it doesn't look spot on. I reckon this will be an easy pass for me

Wait a darn minute.....is Nick Fury the bad guy? I swear I get no indication on what he is just by watching iron man 2.

No dummy, it's one thing to look like the guy in the comics and another to look like a real life person. It's much harder to replicate the features of a real life person than it is of a comic character. A good example of that is the Ryo Saeba figure by Hot Toys, that likeness was perfect. In this case they might essentially be the same person but there will always be a significant difference when trying to portray the real person and the comic character. They didn't even managed to get color of ONE eye right.
