Damm you people and your pictures. Had a converted wait list Fury ready to ship but in a fleeting moment of feeling like a financially responsible adult, I cancelled. Glad that feeling has passed and back to the wait list I go.

Isn't it?! Congrats Mike. :hi5:

I've got mine as well, looking all badass and everything. :D

Thanks Tony! I can't find a bad pose for this guy. I couldn't find anything wrong with it either.

Glad you finally got yours man! Did they give you any excuses or BS at the store? I'm just wondering.

And MAN is it hard keeping up with threads without email notifications!!! I know that's got to be like the millionth comment on that but damn! I feel like I'm ignoring people. I sure don't mean to.

Thanks Zip! That is exactly why I wanted to visit them to see what I was working with. Low and behold they were super cool and very nice and understanding. They even gave me a discount on a book I purchased. I will be buying from them again in the future. Its about 20-30 minutes away but its nice to go there and see other figures setup. I was finally able to see the Gantry setup and it looks amazing. I almost bought that and Redskull but I had to fight the urge.

That's cool Ron, glad to hear everything is on the up-and-up with them. I'm glad I kept my order with them and I'll consider ordering from them again since they are good people.

I keep looking at my Nick Fury figure and thinking about how hard it would be to make him into the character he played in "Black Snake Moan." I guess all I'd need would be a 1/6 scale wife-beater, jeans, and regular shoes. Oh and a whole new headsculpt. Yeah nevermind....

Thanks gentlemen! I've been here since June and its nice to see other members treating me like I've been here for years. I am happy I pulled the trigger and bought my first HT figure then.

I just got on the waitlist today

does anyone think it will convert or is it way to late

An awesome figure , I can't wait for the others ! Here are some shots that I just took ! I'm still working on a glowing Tasseract one with the suitcase.

Peeve of mine with all HT figures - the forearms are too long in relation to the upper. Wish HT would fix that on their TTs and muscle bodies. Innaccuracy is one thing but basic anatomical wierdness is another.

Well the arms are double jointed... if you bend them right (make the bend at the upper arm straight and one connecting the fore 90 degrees) the long-forearm issue is gone.

Soooo....the tiny tiny wrist watch. I spent a few minutes trying to get it to slip on the forearm with the hand removed. Didn't seem like it was worth the effort but I kinda want it there. Any tips?

Same for the earpiece. Do you just jam it in his ear, like perfectly perpendicular to his head?

I struggled getting the watch on his wrist. Just gotta get the band to stretch until it can fit over the wrist. Took me awhile. The ear piece just fits in the ear. Isn't super sturdy, but it isn't hard to get to stay put.

Once the watch is on, does the jacket sleeve cover it up? I might not fool with it until I get tired of the big coat and switch to just the shirt. It's almost a shame to cover it up, the tailoring and microstitching is so good. Hot Toys seems to have stepped up their game in that regard. And thanks for the info on the earpiece too!

Bugger. Just snapped part of the holster off! Thought it looked like it should rotate to hold the pistol in place. Apparently it was glued solid until sausage fingers twisted it off!

That sucks. The same thing happened to me with my TA Iron Man while trying to change for forearm armor. The pieces were so tight in the holes, that when I tried to change them out, the peg snapped. Luckily, I was able to find replacement pieces off of eBay. :(

So, speaking of which.....

Cool pics! Is that background a poster? :clap

Thanks Viking Spawn ! Yes the background is a poster and I had to work the lighting for the blend !

@ZipFlint Thanks the hands are one of the standout accessories of this figure they portray his ability to command -and all are well sculpted . The pointing fingers and all the others, gloved and normal and the watch is a nice touch . I wish the missile launcher had a harness though.
