Love that amazing gory details! :yess:

I need a cheeze burger! :monkey1

I kinda want to repaint the skull and spine as the all-over red paintjob leaves something to be desired. It needs more variation in opacity of the blood and parts of the bones showing through the blood.

What the argument seems to come down to is P. doesn't consider the third film to be true canon, he considers it unworthy of the first 2 films. And thats fine. I think he should just say that from the outset though.

Even if, under intense scrutiny they don't appear to be bigger or stronger its pretty clear we aren't meant to analyse them to such a degree, but simply accept what they 'say' in the film - that the Super Predators are bigger and stronger. One is meant to assume that the Classic is the same size as the original predator and, however much bigger than him the Berserker is, is meant to be the in-universe size difference. And thus, if Hot Toys are basing the sizing of the figures on the in-universe stats, one can view the Hot Toys figures as too small...but then all their Preds are really.

Yes indeedy.

Hot Toys Preds are too small whatever way you look at. According to in-universe stats or as far as the actual actors & suits go.

Which would people want ideally?

Devil is stirring the pot. :lol

Hey I think most of us think that "3rd movie" sucked major camel nuts. But Fox owns that franchise so they decide what's canon. Not fans. Not even the people who make the movies. So with that said.. according to canon the space gardening preds with liquorice colored dreds are bigger than the regular preds. Period.

And hell, it's fine to pick and choose what you want to include in your own personal canon but to yell at other people for not following your own made up little world is crazy. I think literally crazy.

Id rather go for in-universe stats, plenty of times in the movies they had Predators stood on boxes and such when they held people up by the necks, or were looking down/being looked up to. Its not really the same when you see behind the scenes shots of the directors looking eye to eye with the creatures in the suit while telling them what to do in that scene. Thats pretty much what the HT's are like now.

Even in Predators sometimes the super Preds where played by guys much smaller than Brian Steel as evidenced by this photo. Does that mean they the Falconer and Tracker should be that much smaller than the Berserker? No, that's just silly.

I don't presume that my 'personal canon' actually has any bearing on official-dom but I will happily disregard any film I don't like and pretend that nothing it depicts happened. If I didn't do that then films like T3 and Alien Resurrection really would taint the other films for me.

Its similarly disappointing when you see behind the scenes shots for T1 and T2. The films do their best to give the impression that Arnold is very tall what with all the low angle shots. Then you see a picture of him with James Cameron directing him and all these other crew-members and Arnold almost looks the shortest in the room.

Yeah Arnold seems to like to say he's around 6'1" but he's nothing like that tall.
